excelente opción
He pasado 4 noches en este hotel por motivos de trabajo y era la tercera vez que voy. Es un hotel pequeño y muy tranquilo, calido y con un toque antiguo que le da algo mas de encanto.La habitación en la que estuve era muy amplia (no. 131) que estuvo siempre muy limpia. Creo quenes algo mejorable el desayuno, especialmente la variedad de fruta fresca. Volveré!!!!
Nice little hotel
Rooms were a bit on the small side, but perfectly adequate considering the price we paid. The breakfast was outstanding. Not thing much close to it, and a good half hour walk into town, or there’s a tram stop about 200 yards away. The only real problem with the hotel was the lack of air conditioning. In almost 30 degree heat in summer, our small room was like a sauna, and opening the windows didn’t help much.
Choose a different hotel
My son and I stayed at this hotel for five nights. I would never go back. You must leave your key at the front desk every time you leave. They make all guests leave for an hour on Saturdays and four hours on Sundays for “cleaning”. You do not have the option to stay. Most of the restaurants are closed Sundays as well so there is no where to go. They offer room service. I asked the front desk person and she me that it’s a frozen meal that they microwave and wouldn’t recommend me eating there. The hotel has a creepy vibe that makes you feel as if you’re being watched and when you go downstairs, someone Mysteriously pops out of a back room. Location is far away from town center. I can’t think of a single reason to stay here. Can’t recommend it.
A decent stop-over
This is a belated brief review to say how satisfied we were by the Hotel du Midi. It was a brief one night stop-over en route to our skiing destination and, overall, it did not disappoint. Although the room itself was adequate, we would make the following comments: the en suite could have done with a bit of an upgrade, with the shower enclosure being 'tired' especially for a superior room and the wallpaper bubbling off the wall in the corner of the bedroom which was slightly odd in an otherwise newly decorated room. However, the receptionist, Angelica (we hope we have spelled her name correctly) was extremely kind, friendly, and could not do enough to help. She ensured that my husband enjoyed a wonderful breakfast with perfect eggs made to order! We would certainly recommend this hotel.
Good for a short stay, but far from the city center
This hotel has a 30's themed lobby with familiar photos and posters. The breakfast buffet was adequate. Internet wifi service was prompt and reliable. Front desk staff are extremely helpful, friendly and cheerful. The room was comfortable, although not spacious. No view to speak of.
