Great front desk and breakfast staff!!!
Rooms were clean and with everything you need
Location was a plus near all amenities. Note you don’t hear the hwy
Breakfast was a line up due to Covid and having to eat in your rooms
Lots of free safe parking
Waiting more than a hour for breakfast and pool was impossible to book!

We stayed for 2 nights and booked 2 bedrooms for our family. Staff is doing their best despite the COVID rule but having stayed in other hotels during the pandemic, I was far from impressed by the way this holiday inn was doing it.
First, it was always impossible to book the pool and people could reserve it more than hours in advance, for a period that was close to 45 minutes and did not seem to go pass 9 pm. Despite the fact we were there 2 nights, we could never get a time to enjoy it.
Second, breakfast. If you travel to a Holiday Inn with a family of 6, chances are that you decided to go with this place because of the convenience of having a free breakfast. Their hotel was fully booked and the lady who was serving the breakfast to all customers who were lining up was nice, efficient and courteous. However, how can I decent manager expect ONE person to serve all the clients who are coming to get breakfast at the same time. I had a lot of compassion for that wonderful lady who was coping with this but it took us more than a HOUR queuing up to finally get the leftovers at 10 am. I even asked the manager why he was not adding more staff. How best answer was I can’t find some. That does not fly and if I were the manager, I would be so ashamed of having a one hour line up that I would go and give this lady a hand.
Finally, when I book a hotel, I expect the hotel to stay true to its pricing that is being confirmed in the written reservation. This hotel went ahead and jacked up the price for the two rooms. That was fixed at the end but those are the annoying things that you don’t expect having to deal with at the end of your stay and having staff to manually readjust your rate. You want that trust and confidence that your rate will be the one that was confirmed when you booked.
Cleaning staff were very friendly, overall a convenient place to stay but I would not book it again in the curent context.
No surprises; a safe choice

The brand on a chain hotel sets the expectation; this location met those expectations: clean, convenient and reasonable value. There are hot and cold breakfast options (tip: if you want a cinnamon roll, go early; they dry out in the warmer).
Good hôtel for the area

I stayed at the hotel as a last minute business decision.
It was clean, the bed, linens and pillows were comfortable.
The room was quiet and the thermostat worked well to keep me comfortable.
Breakfast was robust with a variety of options from fruits, breads, bacon, eggs, omelets, teas, coffees, pancakes, etc.
Good value, front desk / reception very welcoming and cordial.
If you want to get a quick bite to eat, there is a Boston Pizza a few steps away.

This is more like a comfort inn than a holiday inn express. They should sell this hotel to a cheaper chain and build a new one. Maybe I’m just spoiled from staying in newer hotels. If they ripped up the carpet in the hall ways and put some good kilz primer down for an odor blocker and then threw some new carpet down it would eliminate the old smell in the halls. Service was fine and the bed was ok. Breakfast was pretty good but again the room is dated.
