Staff here was very friendly and helpful. It is directly across from the union station entrance so that was nice. You can tell the hotel is older but it is still nice and very clean. They have everyone wear masks in common areas and limit people in the elevator to just your party. They have hand sanitizer available and markings on the floor for social distancing. I felt very safe as well as there is a policeman near by keeping an eye on things and you have to have a room key to have access to get inside. I had mentioned that I was there for my one year anniversary when I booked online so I believe they upgraded my room which was really nice. It had a view of the wheel which was pretty neat. There was a couch and chair in the room which were very comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and had 5 pillows. There was no comforter on it I’m assuming due to the pandemic. I did see something that was bagged up that you could probably use that was in a closet. The tv was a nice size and could move around.

no coffee no breakfast - bad location of hotel , not enough toliet paper or towels we had gto get them from front fdesk then they made us take them to the room instead of them bringing them to the room
Great Place to Stay During Pandemic
We had two rooms for a Saturday night and really did not know anything about where we were staying except it was close to the Aquarium. The staff was always kind and helpful in anything we needed and asked. Our rooms were clean and the staff really did an outstanding job making us feel like they were watching out for everyone's health with masks, bagged food, pool reservations, cleaning of tables. Hotel doors and parking garage were locked and you could only enter with keys which also made me feel safe. I would definitely stay again. Great job Drury Inn employees!!
Stately Old Hotel
Drury Inn Union Station is a old property that Drury breathed life back into a few years ago. It’s unique and different than staying at a Drury “stick built” location but offers the same amenities. It’s near the aquarium and seems to be a fairly safe area considering it’s in downtown STL.
Great location but go elsewhere for breakfast
My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway. We got up early for breakfast as it was provided by the hotel. We went downstairs to find that it was "to go." Totally understandable considering this whole COVID business. We reviewed the options (sausage biscuit, yogurt, fruit, pastry) and told the server to just give us one of everything so we didn't hold up the line. We got back to our room to find the biscuits were rock hard, pretty much inedible and no yogurt. The location is great for Union Station activities as it's right across the street. The decor was awesome. Upon checkout, I called the front desk and asked how to get out of the parking garage as we needed our room key but were told we had to leave them in the room. The woman at the desk couldn't answer my question and instead of directing me to someone who could, she decided to hang up on me. We likely won't stay again.
