Everything I wished for!

What a jewel. The care that was put into Le Petit Bijou was such a delight. Patricia looked after our place, and while we don’t speak much French, we made do. Every detail is considered here and we felt charmed and at home. Returning to stay here would be a dream.
Fabulous beyond expectations

In the luxury industry, it’s always about delivering the unexpected. And it is rarely achieved...HOWEVER, this low-key luxury boutique suite hotel did just that:
it delivered the unexpected in so many ways!!! I fell in love with the whole experience! The place, the team, the pebbled courtyard...soooo authentic!!!
The tomette floors, the maison itself...WOW!
The authenticity of the experience they have created is overwhelming. The maison is beautiful, everything is spotless, linens are of fabulous quality. They went into details so gracefully - little things - you feel at home right away.
Vintage linen bed covers, amazing pillows & mattresses, splendid sheets & towels, ultra clean everything, little nougats and a Nespresso machine, Dyptique products...oh and did I mention how everything was spotless?!
The ladies in charge are friendly & make you feel as if you may have known them for years, they are accommodating and they curate every little thing.
From the little aperitif they serve upon your arrival to the amazing breakfast they prepare the next morning...
The courtyard is a haven of peace in the crowded historical center of St. Rémy. The breakfast in wonderful...I could go on for hours.
I rarely rave about hotels but this place is a gem. I am obsessed with it. Can’t wait to go back!!
It was perfect in every way. Bravo, tout était PARFAIT!!
An exquisite hideaway

If you love big and glitzy, this isn't for you. But if you want a flawlessly executed, tiny hotel tucked behind a tall wooden gate in the heart of the village, by all means choose La Maison du Village. I stayed in the Suite Ivoire for about 4 days and adored it. The windows all face the charming, pebbled courtyard. The bathroom is fabulous, with excellent toiletries (including a vinaigre de toilette which will change your world), and the finest evening lighting on the planet. Christiane was a delightful hostess. There are stairs up to the rooms, so if you have mobility issues, you should take that into consideration.
A special hotel which epitomises French elegance, charm, comfort and style.

Though I've visited Saint-Remy-de-Provence many times, this was my favourite stay due to having chosen La Maison du Village. The silvery stone building is discreetly set in the heart of St Remy perfect for seeing everything or just sitting in the garden and listening to the birds sing in the olive and cypress trees. As soon as we walked in, we were spellbound by the calm of the hotel, the fragrances (it sells Diptyque candles and products so the scent all through is divine!), the easy lighting and kind, professional team who work there. Our suites were heavenly - we were inspired by the taste and attention to detail which went into designing every aspect of of our stay. There was space, light, all the amenities you could want and a touching generosity in everything that was provided. This is a really special place to stay, so much so, my teenage kids who normally wouldn't a appreciate a quiet, charming B&B, preferring pools, and lifts and more rambunctious facilities, loved La Maison du Village and were bowled over by the tasteful decor.
Perfect to discover Saint-Rémy from within

We staid one night with my wife while en route to the Côte d’Azur, on a week day outside the French vacation days, and it was perfect. La Maison Du Village is a very nice family-size home on a pedestrian street inside the old town with only a few rooms, ideal in our case. We recommend it.
