Long week-end with the kids
We just spent a very nice long weekend with the kids at the Manoir Saint Sauveur. We enjoy it so much, the room that we had it was brand new renovated. We eat at the steakhouse the seafood and the steak are just amazing. We had great weather so we spent the whole time at the pool outside. We played Tennis and basketball with the kids. We recommend this hotel to everybody’s because the rules of COVID-19 has been respect so we filed safe. I can’t wait to come back!
The ManWOW St Sauveur
My wife and i had a fantastic stay at the Manoir on the Labor day week end. We took advantage of the 2 night- 1 free night stay.Parking was easy, check in was easy, finding the room was easy and the staff were very helpfull considering the masks and distancing. The room was clean and well furnished. My wife used the spa services and was very happy with her massage and facial. The pool was clean and the pool staff was very polite. The wait staff at the pool bar were very nice and the bartender had a good "over pour" in our drinks. On the last day we booked a Cabana at the pool and i would like to give Kevin ( our waiter) a 5 star rating for his service and tireless service, even at the end of his shift,he gave us the time to order a last bottle of wine to complete our stay. The manoir is well placed in St Sauveur so an easy walk to the town center is a must. They have tennis courts, basketball hoops, kids zone and ping pong tables available for the guests. My ONLY bad point: Make it easier for your guests to keep a tab on their expenses...give the customers a copy of their receipts after each transaction because the 4 page invoice you give us at check out ( with no explanation of what we spent) is confusing. We had a 20$ charge at the Bar for drinks we never had. This gave us a bad feeling that maybe we had other charges that were not ours. It's easy to give another room number to get drinks and food without the staff checking if it's really your room. So my fellow TA's...this Manoir is the place to stay in St So... The Man Wow St - Sauveur...
Terrible customer service, very unprofessional staff, extremely unsatisfied with my stay given the high price tag of 300$/night. When I reserved I asked for a room with a balcony which they told me YES we have plenty available. When I arrived guess what ? No room with a balcony they over booked and I didn’t make the cut. I also reserved a cabana by the pool which they never ended up reserving. Basically never going back there again so many better places.
I stayed at the manoir for 3 days and the service was exceptional!! The waiters were always checking on us if we needed anything, the kids had soo much fun with plenty activities to do me and my husband relaxed next to the pool bar with a great vibe. The room was very clean , we also ate at the manoir restaurant and they had all kinds of food that accommodates everyone!
Decades of loyalty worth $0 to Manoir.
Firstly I was misled by the reservations department. I had their website open while i was discussing my needs with their representative. I agreed to pay an extremely high price for a beautiful modern mezzanine but instead they gave me something that was much less valuable. It was not what they promised me. The website shows a beautiful ultra modern open kitchen, with a zen modern look. the actual room was more like a small appartement with hardly any style at all. almost $400/night. Buy 2 nights, get the third night free. The deal is a complete scam. No pictures of that room on their website. It had a kitchen so small only one person could be in it at one time, you could not even open the fridge door while standing in front if it. The TV’s did not work properly, we could not rent movies for the kids, the AC was unmanageable, programming it would last a few minutes at most, then it would reset itself and blast cold air 19°target temperature, very loud AC , could not sleep. We called for help, no help was given. The beds were very beaten up and uncomfortable, my daughter hardly slept a wink for 2 nights. We called for pillows 3 times, it took them over 10 hours to deliver pillows. the toster was broken, they sent us a child to deliver us a second broken toaster. the staff were young teenaged children that had no idea about anything, they didn’t even know where i could go to get ice, or detergent for the washer. I needed a cot for my 8yr old, they charged me for it but never delivered it to me, they said washer/dryer included in room but they dont give you any detergent. Nobody comes to clean the room, offer new towels. I understand with coronavirus that it can be difficult to maintain standards, but a little care package of towels and sheets could have been left at our door. Instead of 3 nights 4 days with the same towels & sheets, no soap to do laundry. I asked to speak to a manager about having the wrong room delivered to me, i was told they would call me, i verified my cell number with them, They never called. The pool area again run by children who had no clue how to manage or organize the situation. We were simply told that there was no room for us at the pool. All the “reserved” areas were empty, they wanted us to pay 250$ to sit there if we wanted to enjoy the pool. Children under the age of 10 were walking into the sauna (16 and over only), i alerted the young people supposedly responsible for the pool area, they did absolutely nothing. The staff was unhappy to be there, they did not want to be working. They had no clue how to work in a hotel. Im sure the regular staff must be home collecting CERB. I ordered a virgin Caesar, i saw the bartender empty what was left of her Clamato juice into my glass. I trusted it was still fresh... nope. I got sick and it ruined our Saturday at the waterslides with the kids. I wanted to order a coffee at the indoor bar (no coffee machines in the rooms anymore). There was 1 other person waiting at the bar with me. It took 20 min to get a service from someone there but there were at least 5 people moving-in and out from behind the bar. The lady and i just looked at each other in disbelief. My family and i checked out 1 night early. I paid $950 for the worst vacation ever. Im never going back there again. I could have gotten a beautiful airb for 1/3 the price and it would have at least been up to date. I decided to be loyal, pay a bit more $$ and to help support a beloved hotel of mine during these difficult times. The Manoir took my money and my dignity away from me, making me stay in a room with no way of cleaning it or being comfortable in it. i have been a loyal patron of theirs since the mid 1990’s. They showed me 0 love. I understand that everything has changed, i know things are so much harder now, but what they did was wrong. And no compensation was offered. The way they treated me... im shocked and sad.
