Worst hotel ever stayed in

Reviewed 22 july, 2019

Location is the only thing going for this hotel. Our room no 32 (avoid) basic and needed a lot of attention. 5 night stay and sheets not changed once in 36 degree heat. No staff could speak good English. 6 coat hangers between us. Toilet seat loose. No shower bracket so you have to hold the water sprayer to shower. and a metal bar death trap when going on the small balcony. Spolit our holiday. Hopefully l can add some photos to show this so you can see for yourself.

Appalling attitude to potential guests

Reviewed 9 september, 2018

I was researching hotels on booking.com and reserved a free cancellation room. But there was an error and I had a confirmation for a non-refundable room. I contacted the hotel immediately to explain there had been a mistake on the website. The director of the hotel was incredibly rude and not sympathetic at all. She said "it was not a mistake" and took nearly £200 from my bank account the next day. I complained to Booking.com who said most hotels will be sympathetic to genuine mistakes and refund where possible as they resell the rooms - but not this one. As this was for a weekend away for a friend's birthday, this hotel will lose out in the long run as they will never have our business again, as they are money grabbing and heartless. Avoid where possible - there are much more welcoming hotels out there that deserve your time and money!!!

Worst hotel experience of my life!

Reviewed 27 august, 2018

Worst hotel experience of my life. In summary, I had a problem with the room and after the staff didn’t fix it the whole thing ended in the hotel owner screaming at me and calling me a liar and urging me to leave his hotel. I came to a dirty room with hair in the bed (clearly indicating sheets had not been changed) and hair ok towels and all over the bathroom walls. I told the receptionist who asked me to proof it. When I did, he said there is nothing he can do because the cleaning staff is not here anymore. They will clean it the next day. When I came to the hotel in the evening, the hairs were still there and I complained again. He said he is just an employee and he did all he could because he told the owner. When I talked to the owner he accused me of lying saying he saw the room and it was clean and I’m exaggerating. Never again, I would recommend everyone stays away.

Good location and fair prices

Thus hotel is not the newest, but for families on a budget it is great. We had two separate bedrooms and a bathroom with a separate toilet. The kids loved their bunk beds. The free internet was ok, as the speed was not that great and the connection was not totally stable. The rooms were clean and quiet, although not that spacious. The air conditioning worked very well and the beds were very comfortable. The parking was at the marina lot across the street. The location is great, right next to the church and the downtown. You can walk everywhere. The price was right for us so it is a real value hotel.

Awfull!!

I booked this hotel through hotels.com i was charged nearly €40 per night more than it should have been the breakfast was good but expensive at €15 each! The second night there was ay live band directly below my window that played until midnight it was that loud even with the windows, external shutter and curtains closed i could not hear the tv that volume was purposefully set at 25% maximum so as not to upset other guests!! I did complain that night and in the morning but the manager still has failed to contact me,customer service is appallingly dreadful and they chose to ignore honest buissines customers i would not recommend to any fellow travellers
