Fantastic hotel.
Stayed for a week in a family suite. Loved our stay. Check in fast and easy. Got there late but was told to go and have our dinner, food was really good just could of been warmer. All staff was brilliant especially ceceila the entertainment organiser, she went above and beyond even though only one child and about 40 guest. Everyone was helpful. Would differently go back again.
Amazing Holiday
We were upgraded for free to this hotel (we were staying next door originally). First impressions were great. The reception area was spotless and the staff were friendly, they even gave us a sea view room. The food was amazing, lots of variety. The cocktails that were on offer were very nice and refreshing. Cecelia the entertainer was great, even though there were not many guests she still managed to create and amazing atmosphere, she even helped us when we were thinking of going to the local theme park and she asked her friends if it was busy there that day. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. Overall a very pleasurable stay. Thank you.
Salou Hotel Park 1
We were going to cancel due to Covid19 but it was the kids first holiday abroad so we went ahead and I'm glad to say we all had a great time 😁 The location was fantastic, 2 minutes to the beach and main shopping strip. Great view from the room overlooking the sea,pool area in full sunshine from 9am til 8pm.🌞 Fantastic all inclusive service , drinks and snacks available all day til late,unlimited ice cream for the kids,unlimited buffet at main meal times, food ok always lots to choose from. Cecelia the entertainer was very friendly the kids loved her and they said the receptionist Aihnoa was funny and they will miss her too. Missi and Jose were the best bartenders,always happy to serve and friendly, made us feel welcome. We would definitely consider going again 👍
Pleasant Stay During A Global Pandemic
I always base my reviews on what I expected for what I paid. We were meant to be staying at the 4R Salou Park’s sister hotel, but were moved (upgraded) to this one a few weeks before we arrived due to the Covid crisis. The transfer to the hotel from the airport was very fast but we were the only ones on the coach:-) Either way, this hotel is very close to the airport. Check in went very smoothly. The girl who checked us in was pleasant, professional and spoke perfect English. On the few occasions that we had had visit the reception desk she was always helpful and friendly. We were given a room on the 7th floor which had excellent sea views. If you can request a sea view then I highly recommend it. We spent plenty of time during our stay taking in the views from our balcony which enjoyed the sun form sunrise to sunset. The room itself was perfectly adequate. Me, my partner and my 11 year old daughter shared the room. The beds & pillows were nice and comfy. The air con & WiFi worked fine throughout our stay. The bathroom was a nice size with a powerful shower and there was never a problem with hot water during our stay. We were half board and can’t complain about what food was on offer. Breakfast was the usual standard of virtually anywhere else that I have ever stayed in for this type of holiday. We chose to eat out every night and have lunch at the hotel. You did get the feeling that there was perhaps slightly less quantity of food on display due to less guests but I was always happy with the options and ate well every day. The fish options were always of a good standard with the choice of having fresh fish cooked right in front of you by the chef. The chilled options served in the other room were always exotic looking and you could never say they were run of the mill, standard fare. There was always plenty of fresh fruit at every meal time. The pool area was nice but I think it could get quite crowded if the hotel was at full capacity. Regarding safety procedures. The hotel was absolutely spotless. It was constantly being cleaned and the poor, hardworking staff kept their face masks on all day, every day. At least we had the choice of removing them when we we eating or sat by the pool but the staff stayed covered up their entire shift. It must have been extremely uncomfortable for them in that baking heat but they always remained pleasant with the guests. The hotel is in a great location. A five minute walk from a lovely, cove / beach in one direction. Less than a five minute walk from the bars and restaurants in the other direction. All in all we had a really nice stay at this hotel during these strange times. If you go there expecting a 4 hotel there’s a chance you might be a tiny bit disappointed. If you go there expecting a 3 star hotel you will definitely be pleasantly surprised. It’s probably somewhere in between. Overall I would recommend this hotel
Fantastic weekend at a fantastic hotel
Just back from our 3rd year running at this 4r Salou Park, usually stay in the Resort 2 but were upgraded to the sister hotel (right next door) on same all inclusive basis. We are a group of 23 inc 11 children and can honestly say what a fantastic week we had, Cecilia the kids animation leader went above and beyond to make sure everyone was entertained shes an absolute credit to the hotel, infact all the staff are amazing, working hard and always with a chat and a smile to greet you. Food was really good, lots of drinks options,the only thing we really missed this year was the snack bar which we have loved before but it wasnt open this year but snacks and ice creams available behind the bar, great location, amazing roof terrace and pool area, fantastic room junior suite with seaviews which are incredible. Will 100% be returning next year and i think i speak from us all. We felt safe in resort and the hotel was spotless with everyone abiding by the rules. Much quieter in resort than previous years but to be totally honest i preferred it that way. Roll on next year as booking 2 weeks
