Great Experience
Great experience staying here. Super friendly staff. Very clean hotel. Very spacious room with a wonderful bed and pillows. They have a full bar. Breakfast was a limited menu but served hot and fast. Hope to visit again soon.
Not the place to stay if you’re traveling in an electric car!
Several of the charging ports had non-electric cars taking the spaces leaving nothing empty.The only response from the front desk attendant was “Sorry, there’s nothing we can do about it”.We had to drive to the other side of town to charge. That was disappointing considering I called in advance and chose this hotel after being assured they had vehicle charging on site.
Worst hotel ever. Marriott has really gone down hill
Honestly, where to begin. I stayed in this hotel recently and I was very excited as my friend told me it was nice. She must have gotten confused because this hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed at. The lobby was nicer than an EconoLodge, but that is about where the improvement ended. The bedspread was stained. The shower had hair in it. And worst of all was the musty kind of sick odor in the room. We never did find out where that smell was coming from. My girlfriend is Japanese, and I think this hotel reuined her opinion of America. The employees were nice enough, but that is true of a truck stop diner and I wouldn't want to sleep there. I would stay away from this hotel, and personally, I think I will maybe start avoiding Marriott in the future and staying at a different chain until they can improve their standards.
Excellent Location
Great hotel to stay in downtown Salt Lake City. Clean with large rooms, but lack of storage. Three persons in a 2-queen room on vacation for two weeks and was difficult to accommodate our luggage. Self-parking for $15 dollars across the hotel is very convenient. Front desk was friendly, but today, people do not allow you to talk, they decide for you. When we arrived, I stated paying with a gift card, when checking out, the very friendly young lady did not allow me to talk and charged my credit card before I was able to handle my form of payment. She was very nice an apologetic: “I reverse the transaction, they money will be available in three days”, sorry, but it is my money and she does not know how my credit card funds are. I recommend this hotel.
Beautiful hotel with convenient location
This hotel was spotless and beautiful. The decor and amenities were top notch. The beds were extremely comfortable and it was quiet. We stayed as a family of four in a two queen bed and there was ample room for our luggage and to move about the room. The only negatives for us was the bathroom door was a sliding frosted glass door (didn't feel super private) and the Iron did not work in our room. (Also, could not find an outlet near the ironing station) Despite those things, it was a beautiful hotel where we felt safe. We would definitely stay again.
