More about the hotel
Practical, economical lodging in excellent location close to ski areas. Perfect for skiers, families
Comfortable, clean, simple and spacious room with a sitting area and a kitchenette. Very practical and efficient design with plenty of storage and countertop area to spread out your belongings. The kitchenette is designed for heating simple microwaveable meals and contains a fridge and a dishwasher. Nice pool and jacuzzi. The hotel is a bit sterile with no charm or soul but practical for skiers and families who go out to play all day and just crash there at night. The location is excellent in the foothills not far from the ski areas and it is an economical lodging alternative for budget minded skiers who don't want tp pay astronomical rates to stay right in Park City. Disliked · I give the staff a fair rating because although they were friendly and professional, you cannot reach the front desk from your phone in the room. I tried 10 times intermittently to reach them and no one ever answers the phone, and you get end up getting looped into a recording. We arrived on a late night flight and they were overbooked and our room was sold to someone else. We were tired and this was an inconvenience. They booked us in another hotel for the night and paid for it but it was a disruption of our schedule as we had to come back the next day to check in. The cooking utensils are basic microwavable type. They will give you a hot plate cooktop upon request, but you really can't use it without proper pots and pans. It would be nice to have a frying pan and a sauce pan if you get the cooktop. Otherwise it is a moot point even having one. We requested a cooktop upon check in that was never delivered to our room. Since we only ended up staying 2 nights and couldn't reach the front desk because no one ever answers the phone, we gave up. The breakfast is mediocre but with covid the hotel is doing the best they can with grab and go bags.
COVID Stay
We stayed here during the COVID, the lobby is very nice and Kyle was fantastic. Kyle was very welcoming and attentive, he changed our room to a different floor to accommodate our dogs. The room was sealed and super clean. The bed and the shower were AMAZING after a long driving day. There is a fantastic microwave in the room for making pizza and popcorn. We would stay here again! The one drawback was the dog walking area is minimal.
Great stay and perfect location
Easy to reach when coming from the airport. Sufficient parking spaces. Rooms: Modern styled rooms and comfortable bed. Certainly all furnitures and fittings are on the less expensive site.... hence the reasonable price. Food: good choice for breakfast (some warm selcetion for microwave)..... tasty coffee.
COVID Trip Review
I was a bit nervous staying in a hotel during a pandemic so we opted for this location since we could get a room near one of the side exits. Here is a summary of Hilton's covid procedures vs reality: 1) Masks required - The reason this hotel only gets 4 stars is because when we left super early in the morning we noticed that the night manager had his mask around his chin. Everyone else we saw, including someone cleaning a room, had their mask on. 2) Rooms sealed after cleaning - the room seal sticker is a bit silly (easy enough to reapply), but I did really appreciate how easy Hilton made it for us to find out when our room was ready on their app. Made it super easy to ensure a few hours between room ready and room entry just in case there were any covid droplets floating around. I will also say that the room was SPOTLESS. I think it's one of the cleanest hotel rooms I've been in.
Great Stay
Love the Hilton Honors program! Needed an overnight stay on our way back to Nevada and decided on Home 2 Suites. Very clean. Comfortable king bed. Loved the dinette area complete with dinnerware, silverware, full sized fridge, microwave & dishwasher. Separate sitting area featured sofa and curtain separating sleeping area from sitting area which is nice if you don't want to wake the other person sleeping. The best part? Love the "Digital Key" system/app. This is the second time we've used it. Only issue was that it wasn't working properly to get into the building due to the heat from the sun on the device (it was about 103 degrees that day). I called the front desk (thankfully I had my phone with me) and, "Liz" came down, let us in and gave us a key card just to be on the safe side. Liz was very personable and helpful. Again, great stay and thank you Hilton Honors program!
