Great downtown location
This hotel is really nice. It is located in a prime location in downtown Salt Lake City. Close to Temple Square and many other attractions in the area. The hotel is very modern in design and looks and feels new. The rooms were super clean with great design and functionality. Sanitizing stations all around The bed was very comfortable and nice One plus thing is they moved forward with the new (cruise cabin like) shampoo and soap dispensers that I believe are great for reducing waste and very functional The room was a bit noisy in the morning because of the constitution in the convention center in front of the hotel but this was not their fault that's why I still give them 5 stars that they deserve for sure. The staff were also nice and helpful
Great downtown choice
This newer hotel is in a quiet location downtown and is convenient for sightseeing and light rail. The room was spacious with lots of storage, good TV selection, and effective A/C. There was great pressure in the shower. The room was quiet. There was a good choice of breakfast items available from the staff directly, instead of the normal buffet. Staff were very friendly and helpful. My only quibble was that parking was limited and fairly tight, although we did get a space in the adjacent lot. I would stay here again if in Salt Lake.
Good Downtown Location
We enjoyed our one night stay here during a family road trip. The downtown location is central to many spots. Parking on the street was available and free during our visit but they also offer parking in a garage for $10 which is reasonable. Our room was very spacious and included a small table with 4 chairs for eating in. There was a fridge with a freezer, cook top, toaster and coffee maker. I almost wish we could’ve stayed for several nights to use all the features. Definitely a good choice in Salt Lake and particularly for an extended stay.
Nice hotel
The hotel was clean and safe. Conveniently located downtown. Limited parking. Friendly staff. Breakfast was very limited and housekeeping did not service rooms due to COVID. However it was not an issue for us.
CAN I GIVE YOU 6 STARS INSTEAD OF FIVE?
We've been here all week and have not yet left. This is our 2nd time here and we come to Salt Lake City every year for a business event at the Salt Palace across the street. We've been doing it for years and it was so great to find the Towneplace Suites last year. Not only a convenient walk each day to the Convention Center across the street, but just a great property to stay. So, we booked again this year and could not be happier. I'm almost afraid to post up because I'm afraid next year, we won't be able to get a room! The rooms are great and really efficient for long-term stays and we are platinum Marriott members and this is one of their properties. You really can't go wrong here, not just because of the hotel, but also because there's great restaurants and entertainment within walking distance which is a major bonus after a long day at the convention center. However, the best part of this hotel are the staff! We travel extensively and probably spend over 200 nights in hotel rooms and the staff here is stellar. I wish I knew everyone's names because it was good to see so many of them for the 2nd year. From Travis, the manager, to Bethany, Ted, Jeffrey, Samara and all the staff, there could not be a more friendly or service-oriented group. Thanks for another great stay and we'll look forward to coming back next year! Oh...and they allow our rescue cat too who travels with us on all our business trips!
