Nice quiet place, but member to the DeCameron group so you can enjoy at any of their locations but "el Isleno". Close the the Jewelry stores, Clothing Stores and Discos. Hotel people and service are awesome.

It is an all inclusive hotel however they have set meal times and although you can order more food, you are conscious of what you ask for. The food is good. The drinks are in small glasses and being so hot there, it meant we had multiple glasses of drink. The staff in the restaurant and reception were nice. The rooms are basic. I have never experienced an all inclusive like this before. I felt restricted. The bar was open from 09:00 to 01:00 which was good. The bar staff were excellent. generally the staff were very accommodating. There were no English speaking channels on the TV and they were really good in getting it set up so we had at least 4 channels in English as opposed to 100 % Spanish speaking stations. After a day or two we got use to the facilities. Live entertainment was in another one of their chain of hotels. We could eat in the other Decameron chains, however you had to let the reception know from in the morning so they could give you a voucher. Check in and out is strange. We arrived early but could not check in until 15:00. Although they kept our luggage we walked around for over 4 hours. Had lunch elsewhere and then returned. We got checked in at 14:45. Check out - the wrist bands are cut off before you leave. The scissors come out and just cut off. There is no escaping those scissor do once you are out, there is no way you are going back in. If you want a basic hotel. This is it. If you want a true all inclusive experience where you are free to snack when you like, then this is not the place for you. I am not sure if I would go back there again.
Nice hotel right next to the main beach

This is a nice hotel. it has direct access to the sea where you can swim but no beach which is not a big issue because it is just meters away from the main San Andres beach, which is great. it has a good swimming pool good for children. The rooms are nice, clean and with a nice view, especially those on second floor of the centre. Decameron offers all inclusive plans which means you dont have to pay for anything else. it offers very good buffet breakfast (with eggs and other items cooked on order) and the lunch and dinner are in a beautiful front sea restaurant which, different from other Decameron hotels, is never a buffer but prepared when you order. Snacks and drinks are also free. All yummy. The entire personel was very kind, warm and helpfull. The all really merit a mention because they have been wonderfull. A++! It is a good hotel for families and we have enjoyed staying there, the only point a bit negative is the location... it is a great location, close to shops, bar, beaches and amenities but this come with the price that it is a bit noisy during the night, fortunatelly not the entire night but still untill late.
I strongly recommand

We stayed there for 2 weeks.... And we would have stayed longer. Only 36 rooms which is excellent to relax. The food is extremely good, staff excellent. Very clean... Although People from other ressorts are allowed in, only a few times we wère bothered with Kids yelling. If I can recommande that People from other ressorts should not hve accès to the long chairs... We asked to change rooms because very noisy on the street side, without hesitations they changes our room. This is not a place if you"re used to luxury of Mexico or Dominicain Republic. That's why we loved it so much. Thanks to Berta (restaurant), Martin (he does every thing) and the staff around the pool and lobby for making our stay there unforgettable. We will be back for more weeks for sure.
