Comfortable Stay

Reviewed 1 february, 2021

We stayed two nights. The beds are amazing! Very comfy! Good value with quiet location. The office lady is really nice and Christina, in housekeeping, was very kind. She went out of her way to accommodate my request. Very glad we booked with this hotel.

I always choose choice hotels and am a platinum member. I originally booked 2 queens, on their app. My husband couldn't go, so when I arrived, I requested a king instead. Not only was I not recognized as a member, the girl at the front desk told me that I have to take the room type I reserved. Ok, no big deal.. More room. The key card had to be put in multiple times before the door opened. Again, no big deal. I got into the bed closer to AC, and realized there was no blanket on the bed. Just the paper thin bedspread. I called the front desk to let them know a blanket was missing, so it would be noted. The TV stand was loose, and someone had stuffed rolled up cardboard under one side to keep it from falling to one side. I stuffed more on the other side to steady it better. The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. Then in the morning got up to take a shower, and the water pressure was horrible. Like a trickle. I have stayed here before, and had a much better experience. The food voucher is a joke. You can choose from just a few items. If I had more time, I would have sat down and ordered off the menu. I had to actually pay $2 for a " large" cup of coffee. I did get a good night's sleep, but was not impressed with the attitude of either desk clerk I encountered. By the way, there were very few rooms occupied, and I have never had a hotel tell me that "you have to take the room you paid for" when the hotel was obviously empty. The king room was less than what I paid for double queens. I will stick with choice hotels next time I am there, but I will be staying at Comfort Suites on the loop.

Great customer service

Long story short. After a few bad hotel choices that night. We found Quality Inn and I tell you Tammy was awesome. I asked to be shown the room-nice and clean. She truly saved our night. Totally appreciate. We will be back and with our families. To stay here.

Never Got to Stay Here

Reviewed 25 october, 2019

I work as a truck driver and complete the majority of my deliveries at night. Many times this will require a hotel stay due to limitations on driving time for safety reasons. Upon completing a run from Central Texas to Midland, TX, I decided to overnight in San Angelo, TX, due to the costs of the rooms in Midland (oil boom). I contacted Quality Inn in San Angelo, TX and explained what I do and why I needed a room with an early check-in time. I was told that while they had available rooms, they could not check me in prior to 3 PM. When I asked why, I was told by Samantha at their front desk that they would not know which rooms were clean and ready for use. I asked Samantha if they had empty rooms last night and was told yes. I then asked, if the room was empty last night, wouldn’t it be clean??? She then informed me she didn’t know what rooms were empty which I took to mean, she didn’t care enough to look. As a result I said thanks and gave my business to La Quinta Inn in San Angelo, who were more than happy to assist. Thanks Quality Inn for steering me to the RIGHT hotel for my stay.

Overnight stay

Reviewed 26 august, 2019

We stayed here overnight on our way to Fredericksburg. The motel was quiet even though we were close to a busy road. The man who checked us in was lovely and honoured our room requests. The room was nice although the air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool enough but we managed ok. There are no restaurants in the immediate area but there are lots in the town itself and there is a Walmart close by. It is close to the road we needed to be on so the location was ideal for us. Breakfast was just ok, would have liked a bit more on the set menu. The pool area was nice and we made good use of it. We would stay here again.
