Disappointed, no consideration & never coming back
This was my 1st time ever making a reservation on a Hampton inn for two nights. So right after work 10PM I head over (more than 2 hour drive to get there). When I try to check in the guy in the reception did not allow me to check in due to new strict rule due to covid that started that night. I try to explain to the guy that if I was not allow to check in why didn’t they call me or send me an email? Reservation was already made a few weeks back. He argue that is was on the site? Complete lie because the covid rule started that night and I showed him the email. He just gave me a I don’t care looked. I explain that I drove more than two hours, I was tired and it was cold. He looked like he didn’t care my situation, did nothing to help me understand, or considered a solution for me. All he did was you can try other hotels in the area? Disappointed and I’ve stayed in many hotels and for me customer service and see how they handle things is what I look at. He clearly didn’t care I drove more than two hours to get there, it was midnight and I had to drive back. Horrible experience! Hotel should’ve at least considered or offer something to those who already had reserve and made their way there. Hampton inn - never again , or recommend this hotel to anyone. Have a great new year everyone.
Excellent Month
Staff was professional, courteous, and helpful. Stayed for the month on business. Since I left before breakfast was served each morning, the night staff would set a few items out for me before I went out. Internet worked well soon could work from my room. Because of covid, they kept the rooms extra clean and practiced social distancing effectively.
GHETTO
This place was the worst place we have ever stayed at. The management was rude. There were people loitering outside the front late at night. There were partying all night in the hallways. There was no breakfast like they said there was going to be. They wanted us to leave our room, so non hotel employees could clean the carpet and move our stuff around should they need to, then we would have wet carpet. The management told us we had no choice in the matter. They didn't even give us a heads up about it. We left after one night. We couldn't get out of there fast enough. We always stay at this hotel brand when we travel, but we never will again!
Family birthday
The hotel was very clean with comfortable beds. Lots of restaurants in the area. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Good breakfast. The only problem was with the refrigerator which was taken care of.
Very nice hotel!
This hotel was near a weekend training session I was attending. The site had bunk room facilities I could have stayed in for free, but I wanted to make sure I got a good nights sleep. Mission accomplished!
