We went up on a trip with about 8 friends, to play some golf in Arelauquen (2mins away) and Llao Llao and relax.
The lodge / cabin (not sure what to call it) is beautiful, very cozy. Very clean, neat rooms (nothing fancy), perfect showers.
No TVs so no one bothers with loud noises and great fireplace in the living room.
Jorge, the manager, is GREAT! Always trying to make feel at home. Organized an amazing "asado a la cruz" (a whole lamb cooked for about 5hs) that was just perfect.
We'll be back again next year for sure!!!!

Besides been lucky to have 5 full sunny days the place is fantastic, Everything works, the management is very polite and ready to give a hand in everything that you need and makes you enjoy your stay even more. Place, room breakfast and food excellent. No doubt highly recommended.

Where to start? Lago Gutierrez Lodge was the perfect living hub for a beautiful week of holidays. First, because of its proximity to the base of the ski tracks, making it a fantastic place to stay away from the bustle of the base but close enough to wake up every morning and make it well in time for the opening of the lifts. Second, coming back every day to enjoy the local cuisine served by Jorge, the cook, is an invaluable experience that allows for a carefree relaxing vacation. However, probably the most incredible part of the Lodge is its location, right by the shore of the Gutierrez Lake, a rare beauty and part of the iconic landscape that makes Bariloche unique!

My stay at Bariloche (went there with 2 friends for a ski week) has been just above reproach. On top of that lies this accommodation which is, without a speck of a doubt, one of a kind. Nothing beats the experience of finishing a hard and cold ski day only to go back to your place and chill with a drink at hand right next to the beautiful lake. After such drink, every single day we enjoyed Jorge's amazing cooking skills beside the amazing hearth at the living room. A very relaxing environment suitable for family, friend or couples alike.
Rooms are truly nice and cozy (remarkably clean too!) with amazing lake views.
I truly recommend it for anyone looking for a great experience away from the noisy and busy city centre.
Great stay and perfect staff

I have stayed in Lago Gutierrez Lodge several days in a row. I have spend a lot of time at the lodge to read, rest and enjoy the landscape.
The owners Maria and Jorge are really nice people. Jorge has made some excellent dinners in the evening and he is really fun to talk with. Maria knows a lot about the area and is always open to help with suggestions.
Some of the rooms are a bit smaller and some are a bit bigger. It all depends on what you need. But the best thing is to be outside. The lodge has a really nice garden where, in summer, you can read a book. Or when its really warm you can even go swimming if you want.
The breakfast is simple but it has all you need (in my case mostly coffee). You might struggle a bit with the showers to get the right temperature. But once you have discovered how it works its just fine.
Other people of the staff Patricia and Flor are also really nice. They are always there to help you when they are at the lodge.
Thank you for having me!
