More about the hotel
Do not attempt to book in this "hotel" unless you have no choice.
This is the worst stay ever on my entire life. We stayed in room 6 which is has a foul odour on the entire room. The television signal is so bad as well as cellular reception is bad too. It is better to bring a pocket wifi because this "hotel" doesn't have a wifi, cellular data is useless here because you will get no signal on LTE. You don't have to stay here very long. Just get a good hotel and don't look for a cheap price because you get what you pay for.
Costa Villa Beach Resort
Kindly update your site because The pool was no longer available. It was converted to additional rooms of the resort. Near at the beach frontline and flotsam Jetsam. Good staff, there are very accomodating to us.
Costa Villa Beach Resort (Not on the Beach, not a Resort)
I was on a business/pleasure trip, this Hotel looked very cute from the front. You can't judge a book by its cover. We booked a basic room. We could not have been more disappointed. The night front desk attendant did not speak any English. The room was very small, with the bed and TV taking up almost the whole room. The WiFi does not work in the rooms, only by the front desk. The CR was so small, you have to turn sideways to get past the toilet and into the small shower. The plumbing is very old. The Air Conditioning is very old and could barely cool the room. The Furniture is old and tired. The bedding and towels are old and tired. The TV is old and small. The Restaurant is old and dirty...I looked in the kitchen and it was disgusting. This place is advertised as beach front, but it is not. To access the beach you have to make your way very carefully through an active construction site (very dangerous). They are building some new rooms on part of the hotel, I hope that they are better than the old rooms. Besides the new paint on the front of the building, it looks like the owner has not spent a Peso on any other part of the Hotel.
Horrible. Squalid. Dirty. Tired.
Don't stay here. Walking distance to beach - albeit via a dangerous ledge (see photos). Not suitable for small children. Room was tiny. a/c didn't work. Hot and uncomfortable. No table. No toilet paper provided!!?? 'Free' breakfast was horrible. WiFi only available standing outside the hotel office!! Bath towels one-step above rags. We pre-paid and checked-out 3-days early!!!
Okay place
It's not as luxurious in comparison to other resort but the beach area at the back is good for swimming compare to the surf area near Sebay which is too crowded. Water looks cleaner here. Room is okay and spacious enough for our group of 5. Blanket is too small though. We haven't tried their in house food but food/goods in their mini store is pricey which is expected. Staff are very nice. Maybe what's bad is there's no signal in the room. :)
