Do NOT Waste Your Money

The pictures on the website and Expedia are deceiving. This place is a sh*t-hole. It is old, run down and NOT CLEAN at all. There were homeless people hanging out in the parking lot. The place is in extremely poor shape. We pulled up to check in and immediately knew we were in the WRONG PLACE. There's NO WAY I was going to let my family stay here. I called Expedia to cancel the reservation and they still tried to charge me a fee of $155.00. Never using Expedia again and absolutely DON'T RECOMMEND this location, at all. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE

They are rip off merchants

I had a reservation through Expedia for a room for myself and my grandson for last night and tonight at a cost of $161.00 payment on arrival - my grandson arrived at 10.30 pm last night and was told that the room was cancelled earlier that day by the hotel with the excuse that the credit card on which the hotel was booked last April was no longer valid but they would reinstate the booking for $500.00 knowing that all the hotels in San Marcos were sold out. They obviously saw this as an opportunity to rip off a young man with limited options.

AVOID THIS HOTEL!!!

The hotel is full of cockroaches and the manager is a scammer. We missed our reservation do to a hurricane that hit the state the night before and this POS still billed us for the rooms. We explained the hurricane is an act of God and he told me to take it up with the hurricane Gods. Good enough hotel for the price.

Hotel was better than expected. From the outside, hotel seems older and very simple. I was worried from 1st impression. I needed to find a hotel for the Labor Day weekend that was not expensive but descent. For no more than $260 for 2 nights, I can say that I was very pleased. Hotel room was clean. I chose 1st floor, non smoking. We had a fridge and a microwave, which was very helpful. Breakfast was included. Some reviews complain about not having waffles. But how can I complain when I has free eggs, sausage patties, cereal, bagels, toasted bread, sweet bread, diff fruit yogurt, milk, coffee, orange and Apple juice, etc. This is a great breakfast in my opinion. The pool is smaller than I thought, and nobody seemed to want to get in it. Not sure if it was cleaned enough to swim in it, but the sitting area was decent enough to sit and relax. Sunday night we took out our bbq pit and decided to have a nice bbq dinner by the pool and listened to some music and have some drinks. Overall, the stay was excellent. I had my 18 month old twins, and my husband. Felt very safe. Another couple also stayed in the same hotel and they were very pleased. Would recommend it. Front desk service was pleasant.

Very bad

the rooms smelled bad, it seems that they were not cleaned, we called Priceline for rooms in the Quinta and because it was exhausted they sent us to this one, terrible. they don't have permanent housekeeping.
