I should say in advance that this is not a "luxury" type hotel; it serves mainly business guests. I'm a frequent traveller to Japan. This time I was looking for a hotel which would be fairly easy to reach from Narita airport and to go to Ashikaga Flower Park, my main aim for this trip. The hotel largely fulfilled my expectations in this regard (I took an express bus from the airport and the hotel is about 15 min walk from the bus stop in Sano. I had to take a taxi to the flower park but it was worth it). Special mention must go to the breakfast spread, which was both sumptuous and scrumptious. Do note that if ladies have to inform the front desk in advance before using the public bath facilities. This is because the space inside is limited. Once, we had to wait until the previous guests were done. I do recommend the bath though; it's very relaxing. The hotel staff were all helpful and friendly. Ask them for help if you need a taxi or directions! One last thing: while in Sano, make sure to try Sano-style ramen! If you ask the front desk staff, they'll give you a ramen map and recommendations.

入室した瞬間、かなりの湿気とバスルームからのカビ臭。エアコンを点けっぱなしにしたけど、廊下のようにカラリとすることはチェックアウト時までなかった。(部屋を変えてもらうと同行者と離れてしまう可能性があったので断念。) ベッドは持参したドライヤーをあてて寝れる程度になったが、帰宅して荷解きしたら衣類が明らかにしっとり…。 考えられる理由はふたつ。ひとつは窓。閉まっているように見えて、そうではなかった。連日の悪天候に加え外から風が吹き込む向きなうえ、しばらく使っていなかったので湿気が入り放題だったか。 もうひとつは室内清掃。ミラーや金属部分など目立つところはしっかりされていたが、それ以外は「道具さえあれば自分でしたい」レベルだった。 念のため同行者たちの部屋を見せてもらったが、自分の部屋ほどひどくなかったのが救い。 清掃のルーティンと終了後のチェック体制の改善を期待したい。

佐野藤岡インターチェンジ近くにあるため、車での出張で利用しやすい。 大浴場もある。 近くに飲食店は少ない。

女性の大浴場問題

ルートインは各地で利用しているが、こちらでは夕食を居酒屋形式で営業している。 朝食もその専用のスペースで食べられるので広くて良かった。 が、問題は女性の大浴場。 洗い場が少ないため宿泊客が多いと順番待ちになる。 宿泊日、フロントから空いたら部屋に電話をくれるとの事だったが1時間待っても連絡が無かったのでキャンセルした。 ルートインと言えば大浴場。 男女差無く、いつでも入れるようにして欲しい。
