Perfect location, great staff, and all the amenities you need for a family stay in Santa Barbara.
Great location and the staff were wonderful. The pool was never too crowded and always clean. Right in between State Street and the Harbor, near the beach and the wharf/pier, the location of this place could not be better.
Not worth the price
I got there at 3pm to check in and my room wasn’t ready, the lady told me she would text me when the room was ready but I never got a text. When we finally got our room it was dirty so much so that I had to go purchase our own sheets. The tub’s paint was coming off. There was brown stains all over the carpet. Definitely not worth the price. Never staying there again. Also my daughter got a rash from the pool.
Don’t be fooled by the photos!
This hotel definitely needs improvement in both service and the facility itself. I won’t be my first choice again when I visit Santa Barbara. In fact, it wouldn’t be in my top three choices. Our bathtub was very old and run down. It was also extremely slow to drain so when we took showers, the water would rise above our ankles. On our second day there, we couldn’t get any hot water running for over 2 hours. The front desk did not inform me I could request housekeeping (a housekeeper did on our last day there.) I had a huge pile of wet towels that accumulated over my stay. I would get clean towels but the wet ones were not removed. I requested trash bags from the front desk 4 different times, and I never got them. So, I had to figure out a way to keep my room clean without trash bags and I took multiple trips to the trash can outside. Basically, my room accumulated trash and wet towels over the days. If you stay here, expect to service your own room and bring your own trash bags. The bathrooms are old and worn down, so also expect problems with the pluming. Don’t be fooled by the pretty photos of the lobby. Considering the price, you should be getting better service.
Beachside Inn
My two boys, 5 and 7, were here for a quick vacation. The hotel was nice, but the staff was really what made the visit awesome. Chris, the receptionist, was kind and super patient with my kids all while being efficient and professional. All the other staff were very helpful and friendly. The heated pool was a hit! We will be back for sure.
Great room and service
Love it. The room was clean and spacious. The staff is absolutely graceful and helpful. The Balcony had a pretty nice view. I enjoyed our trip. Hotel was tastefully done. They also provided fruits and pastries for breakfast since they couldn't make hot breakfast due to Covid. Love this place.
