the place is clean well maintained and exelemt buffet for breakfast an dinner- Exelent Bar man! Pedro did great drinks. what was missing is an info how the whole bath and spa works - and strange - such a place and the Spa does not work on sunday... staff was ok - but exactly this better info was missing- besides that, the hotel is not a cozy place but nature around it impressive and good infrastructure for outdoor activities . There is a group organizing tree climbing and other activities; there is a tenis aswell.

My wife and I along with our 2 year old spent 4 nights there and here are the good and bad things: Good: - lots of activities for kids to do especially 5+ years - big pool and hot tub (although a little bit old) and dated - lots of lounge chairs - staff are nice - location and grounds set in lush tropical rainforest Bad: - the food (not terrible but not very nice). - no staff to order drinks and food around the pool area - doesn't have the resort feel as a result. - the bathroom in the room was terrible. No ventilation so after a shower you are sweaty. Plus there's a thermal water tap over the bench but no drain - just doesn't make sense. - the noise from all the air cons and whatever else is ridiculous when sleeping - something needs to be done. You'll soon find out if you don't know what I'm talkimg about. Also the corridors are long and echo the sound of guests. The doors are heavy and you can hear them open and shut. Would we go back? Maybe not, prefer to try another resort next time but it's a decent plae for a family to go to especially if you have kids 5+ years of age as there's lots of activities for them to do while the parents relax.
Hot springs in the outskirts of Serra do Tabuleiro State Park

The hotel is located in the outskirts of the beautiful State Park, its pools get their water from hot springs visites since early imperial days. In need of some remodeling. Average, yet honest, food. Nearby State Park and region offer several attractions.
Peace, comfort and tranquility

Family atmosphere, cozy, in the midst of lush nature. A climate of peace and tranquility near the urban area of Greater Florianópolis. The hotel is old but its rooms are very comfortable and have a hot tub. Excellent value for money. It is also possible to do sports in nature, such as tree climbing and rappelling down the waterfalls.
