Super friendly and very clean
Stayed there several times! The rooms are super clean and nicely remodeled. There is all kinds of places To eat within walking distance. The owner and staff are very professional and friendly. Would highly recommend.
Pleasantly surprised
This is one of the more reasonably priced choices for lodging near the San Jose airport so I was a bit concerned, but figured it was only for one night. On entering the office we were warmly greeted and offered a lot of information in response to my questions concerning dining options, location to purchase wine (Safeway) and directions to the airport for the following morning. On entering our room, we were pleasantly surprised by both the updated decor and furnishings. It was appeared that there has been a recent renovation including modern fixtures in the bathroom. Overall, we were very pleased.
Clean but minimal accommodations in Santa Clara
Older motor hotel which has gone through minimal upgrades.. the rooms were fairly large and were clean. There was a fair sized refrigerator, but no provision to make coffee and no ice machine on the premises. No vents in the bathroom so to avoid fogging up the mirrors you had to open the bathroom window which gave you a view of residential back yards which butted up against the hotel and provided anyone walking past a view of the bathroom interior. The beds were just OK... It was reasonably priced and in a good location for local attractions. Booked it sight unseen and probably would not book there in the future.
Nice stay in large room
The Sterling Inn stay was comfortable and nice. Rooms are large with nice fridge and microwave. The only hiccup was we stayed in first floor and we could hear everyone walking in their room. Other than that it was a good stay.
Great nights sleep
A classic motel! We pre booked our room due to the good reviews and were not disappointed! Everything was just as it should be with added extras like a fridge and microwave. A very pleasant member of staff booked us in around 23:00 and all was smooth and unhurried despite the late hour. We even got a recommendation for breakfast. For me the only down side was the towels which were way too small. This did not spoil our stay in any way. Well done, we loved the experience x
