Excellent
Simply Excellent. Great staff. Nice rooms. Covid-19 Protocols were great. Cleaning service was outstanding. Breakfast in the room beatifull presented. Good location. WiFi was fast. Nothing to complain.
Comfortable suites and good location
We had 3 nights in December, one of them was on Friday when there were regular protests in Santiago, that were very close to the hotel. But on the other morning everything was calm and did not prevent us from a normal city tour. The suites are very comfortable and spacious although they certainly need a refresh. The room service was very good, a little bit shorter menu, but the food was delicious. The restaurant should be used only for the breakfast buffet. The staff at the reception was very kind and professional. The hotel is a 15 min walk from Barrio Italia with great restaurants. Overall we had a very nice and comfy stay in Santiago.
Avoid if you have allergies or asthma!
We stayed in December 3 nights and in January another one. The hotel is very close to Plaza Italia where protests take place, so the air is some evenings smelling of the gas the police uses. All the rooms we stayed in were rather apartments than double room, clean and spacious. But they were outdated-as far as I understood they were just refurbishing part of the hotel, so maybe you’ll get the real NH experience if you get there in a few months. The worst part was the air conditioning not working in the whole hotel during our last night and it was so hot you could not breath. No window to open. And most annoying was when we were lied to that there might be a problem only in our room and offered a new one, at 2 pm. Luckily I passed the offer-the next morning my parents told me that it was the same in their room. And they knew it the moment we checked in, at 10 pm! They did not told us. Me and my sister we both have asthma and this night was a nightmare. Maybe as a compensation we did not have to pay for the minibar-but honestly I would have preferred to stay in any other decent hotel. As we had a paid dinner of 65 USD, they arranged to have it in our room during our last stay as it was late and we appreciate this. The staff is a big plus as they are trying to help you. The Breakfast was a decent one, with choices for continental, cereals, hot meals.
good show - lousy service.
Hotel was, at best, a three start hotel. It was extremely dated. Needs to be upgraded. While room was nice, everything was very old. The restaurant left s lot to be desired. At check in, no one helped with the baggage from the taxi to the reception or to take it to the room. No concierge or bell boy.
Excellent stay in Santiago
Lots of space, room is rather a suite, Lobby, Lounge, Bedroom with walk-in Caninet, Bathroom. All very clean, reasonably priced location in Santiog Centro, Bar area and breakfats downstairs, fair distance to shopping Center at Paulmann Tower, subway nearby.
