Hugely disappointing and a bit icky too
The location was great and it was nice to be in a building where we were among the residents of this city but I have no other positives The room did not look like the pictures. It was drab, worn out and not very appealing. It could do with a good clean and a link of paint. Dishes in the cupboard were dirty. Repairs were sloppy. Instead of the airy sitting room space we were expecting (with canvas prints etc) the well worn sofa faced another bed. Something had been taken off the wall and you could still see the marks/holes. Shower curtain was mouldy and smelly. Bathtub had been badly repaired. The reception was rude. The only person in Chile who never smiled. He also acted like he had no idea why we were there. He did not speak English. He eventually called the "manager" responsible for the lets. She does not speak English either. Which is fine but not if the bumpf says that you do and you have no information to provide us. The room was not cleaned at all while we were there and we had no instructions on how and where to dispose of garbage (remember this is a place where you put your toilet paper in the bin). The worst thing is that access to the building and lifts is with a key fob which you are not provided and when we inquired after being stuck outside we were told we would just be waved in. Not a problem during the day when the outside gates are unlocked but a bit of a stress when coming back after midnight. Yes the price is reasonable but so is a lot of accommodation in this city so stay elsewhere.
an awesome place to stay at
Great service. The rooms were pristine, well equipped and excelentlly lit. Totally recommended if you are going to be staying in Santiago. It is located in a wonderful neighborhood, extremely centric. It is a really nice place to stay at Santiago. You should try it!
Un lugar en el corazón de Santiago
En septiembre viajamos a Chile a través de los kilómetros que pudimos obtener en LATAM. Previamente reservamos un departamento para manejarnos cómodamente, tomar un té, mate o café o descansar en un espacio privado. Nos encontramos en un enorme edificio de muchos departamentos en el centro de la ciudad, a dos calles del Museo de Bellas Artes y de la Plaza de Armas. Subimos al piso 10°por ascensor e ingresamos a un coqueto departamento equipado con todos los elementos necesarios para cubrir las necesidades de estadía para dos personas. Una cocina moderna con platos, cubiertos, vasos, tazas, una cafetera, un pava eléctrica, heladera, secador de cabello, aire acondicionado, baño completo con todos los elementos de tocador, tres amplios placares. Además tenía a nuestra disposición wi-fi libre, en la alacena yerba, azúcar, te aceite, sal, etc. Todo decorado con un gusto exquisito. Mauricio y Florencia se comunicaron con nosotros por whatsapp y nos ofrecieron todo tipo de ayuda, hasta la dirección y teléfono del transfer que nos llevó al departamento y nos regresó al aeropuerto en nuestro regreso. Para finalizar les contamos que recién el último día, antes de partir, vinieron a cobrarnos la estadía que nos costó solamente U$S 60 por día. Una maravilla para recomendar..
Un desastre
La verdad nada de lo q se ve en las fotos es cierto , un verdadero desastre resultó, sucio, el desayuno tuvimos q pedir q lo repongan , la WiFi nunca anduvo, las hornallas tampoco, éramos 4 con un caloventor, las camas q decía sólo había una la otra era un sillón, la verdad de terror.
Hospedagem diferente!
Eu já sabia que se tratava de um apartamento, porém fiquei um pouco decepcionado. Começando com a portaria, pois não é uma recepção, o Sr. que estava lá nem sabia do que eu estava falando, até que pareceu se lembrar da Paula, a responsável pelo check-in. Ela nos recebeu meio as pressas, a língua atrapalhou muito desta vez, ela me disse que nosso quarto tinha dado problema, e que nos colocaria em um provisório. No dia seguinte fomos pro quarto novo, nem tanto, mas melhor que o inicial. O tamanho é bom juntando todas as partes, só o espaço do chuveiro e iluminação que achei ruim. Escravo da internet, sofri um pouco, pois as vezes ela falhava. A localização é ótima. Dá para ir a pé a Lastarria e outros locais, além de estar a poucos metros do metrô. Enfim acho que hospedagem deste tipo perde um pouco do "glamour" de um passeio de férias, mas é muito econômico. Pensando assim é um lugar que dá para indicar.
