Comfortable place to stay

A very comfortable stay in serene location of Palampur. Well maintained rooms and amenities. Only flaw is food and service which needs a bit improvisation. Would definitely recommend to the Travellers looking for a luxury in Hills.
Delightful staff, tired but adequate accommodation.

We stayed 3 nights & although the place was tired & there was no view, it was perfectly adequate as a base for sightseeing. The reception staff were absolutely delightful & with the help of Google Translate we managed to get all the information we needed. A warning though - don't expect typical hotel style accommodation & service. This "hotel" is really just a collection of self-contained rooms in an apartment block. It's location is fantastic, within a relatively easy walk of the subway, Plaza de Armas & many of the museums. Reception is not obvious, being located in one of the building's apartments with no obvious signage. Loved having the kitchenette to make a cup of tea.
Comfortable apartment in a good location.

After a few months on the road we really enjoyed our stay here and it was great to have an apartment all to ourselves with some private space and a kitchen. These are definitely more like private apartment rentals rather than a hotel, which suited us really well. We had a one bedroom apartment which was a reasonable size. The bed was really comfortable and they have good blackout curtains and it was very quiet so we slept really well. The kitchen was small but adequate to cook in with 2 hot plates, an oven, microwave, toaster and kettle as well as cooking utensils. There is a good sized super market just over the road to the left which was really convenient. It wasn't very well advertised but our apartment was in block B and if you go all the way to the roof there is a sun terrace and pool you can use too. The neighbourhood is in the financial district so feels very safe, a couple of blocks to the metro and some of the city attractions are within walking distance. Housekeeping come in every day to sort out the bed and bathroom. The place was generally pretty clean, some of the fabric furnishings are looking a bit worn (i.e. sofa and carpet in the bedroom) but its just general wear and tear, the place is generally pretty clean and we really enjoyed staying here.

Dates 8.12 -12.12.2015 Room Number 1312 Price Paid 45 euros Relation Value/Cost rate paid: 100% Pax 1 Breakfast no Cleanness: could be better…I must give a negative qualification. Bed Comfort: Much better than expected, not checked the sheets, but seems to be 400 threads. Hard and Soft Pillows. Mattress: Wore out Bathroom: The worst, not very clean VERY small Towels: Not big deal, not soft but clean View: balcony with view to 30 mts to a high concrete wall. Claustrophobic will have a hard time there. Personnel: “Front Desk” very good. Daily cleaning lady. Helpful people Environment: Is not a Hotel, it’s an apartment in a low class building. Expect not edu-cated neighbors. Kitchen with almost necessary kitchen utensil. Pool / recreation area: I choose it because the pool, but was closed while out there was 32°c sunny. Asking why, I got only excuses. Epilog: You want to save money?, are you three travelers? (it has a sleeping couch) for 45 euros, 3 px with possibility to cook something, it’s great. Should I stay there again: NO

My apartment had a good basic range of equipment in a quite small unit that was fine but a little worn round the edges. Check in was a bit of a hassle - not getting the key card which was straightforward, but finally tracking down the management company that was not in the flat it said it was on the first three occasions I visited. Finally made it the day before leaving!
