Great location and that’s all

Reviewed 3 july, 2019

The location is excellent and that’s all you going to get. Outdated and a little dirty, the service is poor and the breakfast is awful. When we arrived I had lunch there and the food was awful as well.

Good place with a few down sides

Reviewed 6 december, 2016

I stayed here for three nights and, in all of them, the neighbourhood was extremely noisy. The building across from the hotel has this huge party room with bright lights and loud music. I am a heavy sleeper, but I could see that being a problem for many people. The room itself is okay, nothing fancy, but it worked well for me, since I was not staying in the hotel for very long during the days. The staff at the front desk was polite, but I cannot say the same about the breakfast team - breakfast is eaten not at the hotel, but at a restaurant right beside it. When I got there for the first morning, a lady called my attention for sitting "at the wrong side of the room for hotel breakfast". Well, too bad there is not sign or anything saying that, and the wrong side happens to be the one closest to the buffet itself, which makes no sense to me. Also, you have to inform the number of your apartment when having breakfast, which would be fine if they didn't make me repeat that three time every day. Their system for keeping track of that is basically any one waiter asks the guest, which makes each one of them ask the same thing the first time they see you. Made me feel like I was constantly being suspected of eating for free or something. Other than that, the location is the highlight of the hotel: two blocks from the subway, close to restaurants and Avenida Paulista. Not terrible, but next time I'm in São Paulo I'll probably stay somewhere else.

Great Base for Business Trip to Sao Paulo

Reviewed 22 april, 2016

Stayed here for a week on a business trip to Sao Paulo. The downside is that it takes a while to get to the business district for work (30-40 mins by Taxi in my case) due to traffic. However, the upside is this hotel is right in the best location in the Jardim area of Sao Paulo, with Ave Paulista 2 blocks away, and a lot of great dining, shopping and walking choices close by in an upscale safe neighborhood. The Fortune doesn't cater to the international traveler which is reflected by the great price. For amenities, it's got good internet, great breakfast, pool, workout room, and spotless large suites with living room and kitchenette. Staff were very helpful and attentive, always there to grab a taxi or help with my bags. Definitely my hotel choice when back in Sao Paulo.

Strolling Lizard in Sao Paulo

Reviewed 15 march, 2015

It is a joke to add "executive service" to the name of this residence. The hotel/apartment complex is tired and cheap looking. The reception staff do not speak a high standard of English, the breakfast selection is OK but you are attended to by staff who don't really want to be there. The restaurant also serves lunch and dinner but you are well-advised to find other locations for your meals. There were a couple of redeeming features notably the good WiFi quality and the fact that you can use the gym 24/7 but when you see a lizard walk across your bed on the last night of your stay, it helps you make up your mind as to what your overall rating of this hotel is going to be. It is well worth the money to pay extra and stay somewhere else that is more decent.

Good location, excellent breakfast and confortable spacious room

Reviewed 26 september, 2013

It was a very confortable stay. Despite the closeness to the business district of the city, the room was really quiet and verysafe even at night. The equipment of the room was satisfiable. The breakfast in their restaurant on the ground floor was excellent. They offered 15 items including several kinds of breads, fruits, yogurt, celeal, some cooked meat, local pies and cakes and drinks. Compared to the quality of the room and breakfast, the staff is of less quality; they didn't explain whether they offer breakfast or not and how to use internet at the time of check in. They do not tell us anything before we asked them. The free Wifi was slow and irritating. If you want a high speed internet service, you have to pay R$20 per day. I think it's unbelievably expensive in a country where free wifi service is very common like Brazil.
