EXCELLENT SERVICE and HOSPITALITY - FRONT DESK PERSONNEL Great!!
I am here on Business and was booked into the hotel by the Convention organizers and the hotel is very close to the Expo center - so it was convenient for my business trip. From the minute I checked into the hotel the front desk personnel were fabulous. Particularly, ANDERSON has been so helpful and considerate and really made me feel welcome. And GONZALO helped me with the internet connection and was also helpful. When I originally looked at some of the reviews I was concerned because some were not good at all. However, I am giving this hotel 5 stars. THe buffet breakfast has a very nice assortment of fruits, cheeses, cereals, breads, rolls, muffins, juices etc. The bedroom is spacious and clean. I cannot say enough GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS HOTEL! OBRIGADA to ANDERSON, GONZALO and ALL THE PERSONNEL! Also PAULO helped me with breakfast today. Bathroom is lovely and the SHOWER is fantastic - lovely hot hot water and good pressure. I Recommend this hotel if you have to go to the Convention Center - I wish I could give it 10 stars!!!
I stayed about a week there for business. My first impression when I crossed the door of the room was “this smells awful”. All inside was old and let’s be honest... outdated. One night I arrived late, the restaurant was closed, so they told me to get room service. From my room I called room services and ordered a Burger, fries and a Diet Coke. After 45 minutes I call back and the literally say “ I don’t speak English”... and cut the conversation. Then I called back again and didn’t have a response. When it was 1 hour after the first call, I was able to get someone who answered and speaks English... answer :” we don’t have a register of what you ordered. So we haven’t prepared anything and now the kitchen is closed” Then, every night we had construction noise... bottom line, never again.
This hotel is much worse than before, will never stay there again
No internet for 2 days, no help from reception desk, my room key was not working every time i was arriving to my room and i had to go to reception again. They charged me 1 more day even after I changed my reservation 1 month in advance!!
Good one night stay.
We only stayed for one night awaiting our flight. I was pleasantly surprised. Comfy beds and nice bathroom. The hotel is large and you could find everything you need including a lovely sushi reastaurant. The waiter in there was polite and hard working. Great customer service. We finally found a hotel in Brazil where English was spoken.
Unexpectedly a great location
Novotel Hotel centre Norte seems to be located a bit out of the centre, not very optimal and you will need a 15 minutes or more to get to Paulista for instance. However, in São Paulo nothing is optimal. You will never be in any place easily in 15 minutes. I return you get a large hotel rather spacious with all facilities. And within a one minute stroll to the Centre Norte shopping. And an area to walk around. You also win precious time to get from and to the airport as it is closer, but more important your risk of traffic is significantly less. The hotel itself is not the most modern, but offers a nice gym, a reasonable swimming pool and a large lounge. And better prices than in the centre aérea. For those who don’t have to go to the south side of the city, this is absolutely an option.
