More about the hotel
Most impressive !
I think the best review is describe Tangará as a oasis in the middle of the desert, because when you check in at the premisses the whole city of San Paolo looks like a desert and you feel like being in another completely different place.
Experience
If you`re in Sao Paulo looking for privacy, tranquility, impeccable service, overlooking a green area that will make you think you are not in one of the largest cities in the world ... this is definitely the right place!
Amazing
Weekend at the Tangará was an amazing experience Dining at the Michelin Star Jean-Georges restaurant was delicious, and their brunch on Sunday was terrific The Pateo do Palácio is also very good, with a good assortment of dishes The Spa was spectacular All in all was a memorable weekend
Beyond fabulous and superbly maintained.
When you go through the gated entrance to this magnificent hotel in the re-knowned Burle Marx Gardens of Sao Paulo you think you have arrived in heaven. The hotel is situated in the middle of Sao Paulo but you feel like you are in the Brazilian jungle oasis with the monkeys and birds overseeing your caipirinhas as you sip them slowly while overlooking the glowing pool and gardens. The service is beyond perfect. The rooms are huge and beautiful, the food is better than delicious and the safety is remarkable. We cried when we had to leave.
This is superb first class!
The hotel stands out amongst the top luxury hotels of the world. The location is on a hill in a residential area in a park designed by Burle Marx. The views from many parts of the hotel over Sao Paulo is mindblowing. Staff is outstandingly friendly, well trained, attentive and helpful. The hotel is exceptionally beautiful furnished and decorated in all areas. The spa is fantastic, stunning indoor pool and very nice outdoor pool with loads of daybeds and superfriendly staff. Everywhere you look, in every corner of the hotel you see tastefully arranged interior design, b/w vintage photographs. Fresh flowers everywhere. Rooms are big, very elegant with great bathrooms, separate shower and toilet, comfy beds and sofas. We struggled to leave the room. Breakfast is top notch with both buffet and a la carte service. Food quality is excellent. Service is perfect. Great drinks in a beautiful bar. Vongerichten restaurant very nice in the evening. In short: this is a urban oasis you hardly want to leave. We have stayed in many hotels in S. Paulo like Fasano, Unique, Emiliano, Four Seasons etc but Palacio de Tangara is by far the best for us. We will always come back.
