Viet Flower Hotel

Stayed here for one night whilst visiting the Sapa villages and I am so happy to have left. The hotel has a horrible smell throughout which I can only presume comes from the kitchen, even the rooms have the horrid smell. We had a double room which was perfectly clean but absolutely freezing cold. So cold that we had to sleep in jumpers and leggings. We were woken up at 2.30 by the cockerel outside and this continued until 7am, you can hear this clearly as the windows/walls have gaps in them. I can’t comment on the quality of the food because we chose not to eat it after seeing the state of the kitchen which you have to walk through to get to the toilet. The staff were lovely but I would never recommend this hotel.

We booked 3 days 2 nights tour package and assigned to Viet Flower Hotel. Well, giving a fair review is their lunch and dinner served with local and authentic Vietnamese cuisine. However, the hygiene at the kitchen, as you can see from the dining area is not well taking care. The hotel doesn’t have lift and located about 10 minutes away from Sapa town. Hence, you may have a special request to stay lower level if luggage is heavy. The staff in the hotel are nice and able to communicate in English. They gave us a feeling of “home” or treated as friend in Sapa and it is really much appreciated.

We arrived early in the morning and we got a room before check in. Rooms are clean but smell a little bit strange but in overall very good. When we had to check out we still had a long day to go for tours so we got the room for the whole day without payment. This way we still got to shower and didn't have to hurry for packing our luggage. The people are very nice and they helped us a lot with everything, overall service is great!!

The rooms were quiet nice, bathroom was not really clean and is had a strange smell in the room. Some of the employees are nice, some not. The boss is a lady how is very arrogant and is screaming around in the dining room. Location is not the best as well, so better stay somewhere else.

I have a tour in Sapa for two days three night. The room was cozy however the dinner option was sucks. They only provide good food to the Vietnamese person.. If you are a solo traveler, you are not advisable to stay in this hotel. I was being ignored most of the time at the restaurant. They mixed all the vegetables n meat all together at the same time. Can you imagine the flavour of 4vege being mixed up together. The feeling was sucks and they are being too rude to solo traveler . During the first day, I realised the owner only served good food and even provide whole table of roasted pork to the Vietnamese people.As a solo traveler for 4years，this was the worst experience I ever had in my life.
