Aceptable
Para los pocos alojamientos que hay en Satun este es aceptable pero podria estar bastante mas cuidado.
Fair value, but no English language TV
By local reputation this is one of the best hotels in town, but in two days I didn’t see any other guests. The location is good and near the centre of town, it’s quiet at night (Satun is the quietest town I’ve ever been in Thailand), and it’s clean and well-maintained. I had a large room (no.602) with a nice view of some hills, and it had a bar fridge, a kettle with tea and coffee, and a flat screen TV with no foreign language channels, even though it’s close to the Malaysian border. The bed was comfortable, with good lights for reading in bed (not much else to do in this town!) The bathroom was clean, with warm water and shower-in-bath. I used the kettle to make hot water for shaving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and had a nice map of the town and district (some hotels in southern Thailand have no tourist information at all). They can arrange a day trip to Ko Lipe for about B1,300. There are several tourist-oriented restaurants on this street, but I really liked the Muslim restaurant Bangnara, which is diagonally across the street next to two banks, the Oomsin Bank and Bangkok Bank. It’s much better value than the tourist traps.
polite/helpful staff
For the amount that we paid, I would summarise my stay at the hotel was good. I booked 3 rooms( non-smoking room) since there were 6 of us and our rooms/toilets were cleaned, the beds were comfortable and well made. The staff were very helpful and polite from the day we checked in till the day we checked out.
Average hotel
An old building located at the center of Satun district near the market. Though I was really disappointed with the structure, I may say the room rates are the best among all hotels in Satun. I stayed here overnight just to vibe Satun. Rooms are huge though.
what a shame
actually they should pay the costumers some money to stay there. This place is totally run down. Mouldy wall, rotten woode toilet door and mirror, very bad soft mattresses. Good location, close to On's place.
