Great Customer Service

Reviewed 17 august, 2022

Steve was very helpful and kind! Hotel is great! Awesome Customer Service! Steve was also helpful giving me directions. Everything is clean and breakfast is great! Many Thanks! I'm excited about being in a clean room after driving across the country.

Older HIE-style property, but we’ll managed.

Reviewed 16 august, 2022

The good: Well managed, organized and clean. Nice front desk staff. One of the better HIE style breakfast experiences (also very well managed). The not-so-good: Older property, appears to have been purpose-built around the time that Holiday Inn Express was developed (20+ years ago). Hotel could use renovation and updating. But no serious issues. Also this property is in a very busy, commercial urban corridor along U.S. 1 (limited access hwy in this stretch). Hotel is not easily accessed from the northbound side.

Nice facility, not-so-nice parking lot

Reviewed 29 june, 2022

Overall, our stay at this location was very good. Check-in was quick, our room was excellent and we slept well. The breakfast exceeded our expectations and the staff was very friendly. Our hesitation in recommending this location was the parking lot activity. Every time we were in the parking lot--when we arrived, when we left to get dinner (and returned) and when we departed the next morning, there were always people loitering around and drinking. They seemed to watch our every move. At nine a.m. there were 4 men sitting on the curb just outside the hotel's rear door. They had two six-packs and a bottle of something else. The whole vibe was just sketchy and the parking lot felt that way the entire time we were there. We left and drove to the airport--make sure you leave plenty of time for that. Even though this is an airport location, Boston traffic means a slow drive.

With so many good hotels nearby, why stay here?

Reviewed 3 may, 2022

First the positives! The young man who checked us in was polite and professional. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and was the first since Covid that included hot food. But, the location felt unsafe. Just walking to our car was uncomfortable. Everything in the room was calculated to meet the bare minimum and still be acceptable. (Smallest toilet I have ever seen in an American hotel.) Even though there are dozens of restaurants around the property, don't plan on just driving to one and then returning to the hotel. Broadway is a divided road, so you will need to rive miles north to turn find an exit to turn around and then drive miles south, exit, re-enter and then return to the hotel. Finally, since the main goal of any hotel is to have a good night sleep. The Holiday Inn FAILS. The walls are so thin that every noise outside or inside the hotel sound like they are in your room. We were on the 3rd floor and could hear people talking in the parking lot below. Spend the extra $25 bucks and pick a better property.

Evan at Front Desk was AMAZING

Reviewed 11 october, 2021

I am writing this review because Evan at the front desk was super kind and accommodating. When our TV and phone were not working, he was very helpful. I am so glad he was the person I spoke to at the hotel. I cannot say good enough things about him!
