Worst service I’ve ever had
First off they lost my friends room, when we called they hung up on us. We went to the pool and wouldn’t give us more towels, so we had to use the same towels to shower with, and the towels were dirty! They stunk and had something spilt on them. When the lady was going to go grab us some the man told her no!! They were always extremely rude to us whenever we tried talking, especially to women. They two workers took turns sleeping on the floor in customers eye sight. Worst service I’ve ever experienced!
Very unacceptable
I booked a room for 2 nights, we came to do Christmas shopping. One of the main reasons we booked here was to use the pool/hot tub after a long day of shopping. According to the website, the pool was still open. Upon arriving, I checked in and could not understand a word of what the gentleman at the desk was saying to me. If someone is going to be in customer service, they should be able to speak English. He told me nothing about breakfast, pool or any other amenity, so I asked. I understand that things are different because of covid, but most are closing the hot tub and leaving the pool open. When asked about the pool, he told me that it needed work, not because of Covid, but because it is broke. I told him that it was not acceptable, and it should have been mentioned on the website. I never would have booked had I known. When entering and leaving there was a strong odor of smoke, either cigarette or the "other." When we crashed for the night the bed was so hard that it probably would have been more comfortable on the floor. The next day, I checked out a day early and went across the street to Super 8, where the pool AND hot tub were open, breakfast was available and the beds were soft. I should get my money back for all the trouble my family had to go through just to have a decent stay while shopping.
Bad experience
Hotel was unacceptable in appearance. We cleaned our own room and we’re grateful we brought our own pillows. Thank goodness the police arrived to deal w unruly hockey player! We will never stay in a Days Inn again.
Disaster!!! Stay Away!!!
Worst experience ever for a hotel stay. I have never met an owner of a hotel that couldn't care less about their customers! I can only assume that this place is a front for some other shady business dealings. Horrible smell of sweaty, musty clothing in addition to cigarette/marijuana smoke! They do not have supplies to refill soap or shampoo and they do not change the sheets. I checked with others in the area and they provide maid service, so this is not an unusual request even during COVID. Thank God we were able to go to a better location and experience friendly staff at another establishment. Photo of "Owner" included. If you role the dice and stay here, avoid this clown at all costs!!!
!!!TERRIBLE!!! - 3rd World Stay in Beautiful Sault Ste Marie - !!!TERRIBLE!!!
CLIFF NOTES: You will be pleasantly amazing if you’re into: - Dirty rooms that welcome random hairs everywhere - An aroma of moth balls complemented with a subtle tinge of mold/mildew - Rude and almost nonexistent lobby front desk - Pool that doesn’t consider the factor of being filled with water NOW ON to THE GOOD NEWS: -Mr. Patel (owner) has had "trucker" buddy living in Room 240 for the past 2 months so be gentle with your foot step past his door. The best part…. Feel free to talk in the hallways right around 8:30pm and brace yourself as a full-on show kicks off. He will burst out of his room….. slamming the door with his construction safety vest on (right safety first) like a missing cast member of the YMCA. Seeing is believing and I am now a believer!!!! Watch out, he is pretty good with the ladies as his shirt is validation of that Call me a liar and if not, I have full confidence Mr. Patel will !!!!! (book it)
