low expectations not even fullfilled

I obviously didn't pay much so I didn't expect too much either. The room wasn't visibly dirty at first but as I took a closer look I could see some stuff. There was a little bit of mold in the bathroom, cables in the bathroom as well and the bathroom door couldn't be shut completely. There was also some dirt on the bed too. I didn't feel super safe either and the next morning when I woke up I found a cockroach in the bathroom! Would not recommend even if you just have to stay a night.
3 strikes and their out

We were going to stay at this motel while in Savanna for a wedding. It’s on the cheaper side, so we weren’t expecting much. But sadly even our low expectations weren’t met. Strike 1 - ladies of the evening sitting outside the office and the area smelled strongly like urine. Strike 2 - they initially couldn’t find the reservation. It took the front desk worker about 20 minutes to find it. Strike 3 - the room they gave us was already occupied. I asked for a refund and it turned into a great story to tell during dinner at the wedding.
St. Patrick's Day

I drove from Atlanta to Savannah to drive for Uber. Normally, they charge for the first nights stay plus taxes at the time of booking. Luckily, Eddie (sp?) was very professional and courteous. He allowed me to pay at the property at time of arrival. Something in the room was cleaned with bleach as the smell was so overwhelming, you had to leave the door open for 10 minutes just to breathe. (No exaggeration) The room looked like it was partially renovated. The walls were painted blue, the floor looked newer, the sheets and matching curtains were nice looking as well. The bathroom except the tub had newer tiling on the walls and the sink was newer. However, when taking a shower, half of the water leaked onto the floor. When housekeeping was told about it the next day, they did not understand as there was a language barrier. I did see 1 roach in the bathroom that was alive. I would recommend management to have the entire place exterminated. The King bed was pretty comfy being as it was not an upscale hotel. There is a Hispanic club attached to the property. No issue with that and loud noise was not a problem. The location is off of I-16 and it takes about 10 minutes to get downtown depending on traffic. For the jacked up price, the room was not worth the $300 for 2 nights.

We stayed 2 nights. Clean rooms, staff was very friendly, housekeeping was exceptional, my only complaint was that the WiFi was out but that wasn't something they could fix. Overall good stay we will stay again.
Inexpensive place to sleep

It’s on the outskirts of Savannah, but doesn’t take to long to get too from downtown. Not the greatest place to stay, but the price was right for the area. The A/C was noisy, but it made for good white noise while sleeping. The bed was comfortable enough. It wasn’t dirty, but it also didn’t “seem” clean. I found a small bug near my toothbrush at one point and was glad it had a cover. I kept it zipped up in a bag after that. Don’t know that I’d stay there again, but the price and location were convenient.
