Good breakfast and spa

Good for a day trip in town and have a peaceful sleep for a basic room with sufficient amenities. Spa for guests (indoor pool and sauna) requires extra fee. Breakfast is delicious and coffee is good. Spent some time doing my work at the hotel's bar/cafe and it was comfortable and convenient. Some area has plug for charging your laptop and wifi is available. Thank goodness. recommended~

Ok, but not a four star hotel.

Schnevedingen is a perfect base for a two or three day cycling holiday, Other hotels in the area, however, offer better value. Secure bike storage is provided in an area where the stinking rubbish and food waste bins are situated, which resulted in an unpleasant start and finish to each of our bike rides. The hotel room, although clean, was clearly in need of renovation - especially the bathroom. We only ate once in the restaurant, which was pretty poor, although breakfast was fine, providing a very wide choice. The staff were generally friendly and helpful.

Fine if you're in a pinch

Every room in Hamburg was booked for a trade show, so ended up here. It was perfectly fine for one night, though it is a bit of a drive from the city. The room was small and sparsely furnished, but it was clean and reasonably up to date. There is a gym either across the street or down the street (should have paid more attention in high school German class) that you can access for 8 EUR, but I didn't visit it.

Close to 'Heidschnucken' experience at Schnuck's awesome Country Hotel

Have you ever seen these cool sheep, called 'heidschnucken' (an awesome gray wool, nordic short tailed race with black face and horns) in nature? Then you really need to visit Lower Saxony's national park area, called 'Lueneburg Heath'. I can strongly recommend this nice country hotel which is somewhat related to the kind of beautiful sheep race. Located some one hour direction southbound Hanover on 'autobahn' (motorway) A7 from Hamburg, you take exit "Bispingen", and within 20 mins (12 miles), you'll reach Schneverdingen. The conference and meeting hotel with lots of amenities (indoor tennis court, swimming pool, sauna, free wifi) gives you the right impression of being on vacation in the woods. The facility offers many parking lots for free, it's quite a big hotel. Don't worry about your car if you can't a lot near the entrance area, OK? The staff is multi-lingual, very friendly and responsive to guests' requests and demands. They have a big restaurant area where excellent breakfast buffet is offered, complimentory. The pricing for cold and warm dinner buffet in the evening is reasonable, very good value for the money paid. Hotel has a lot of conference and meeting rooms, a spacy bar area next to restaurant on lobby level and a big party room (extra 'disco bar' for company and family events) with separated smokers' area in the basement. The rooms on lobby / floor level have exit to the outside, else the rooms on the upper deck have little porches. The equipment in the hotel room is sufficient and quite modern style, separated shower/WC with ladies' cosmetic space. You don't have to worry about power sockets for your computer and other gadgets.

Two days conference

Hotels is situated in a nice area just nestled in a housing estate. But not squashed but in its own land with extra parking area available. Rooms are fresh bright and typically German style. Basic but enough facility's. Wifi is reachable from the rooms but I could not log on. I did however use it during the conference without issue. Large bar and restaurant areas and several conference rooms. Staff speak English well and are very friendly.
