Clean and considerate with good food
A telephone conversation that allowed the right time for us to visit with 3 dogs. Great corner table set aside for us. The Gordon Arms was immaculately clean. The service was excellent and the pub had a good buzz and vibes. This is an excellently run establishment. Looking forward to many more visits. Theres a menu I want to eat through. All covid precautions taken by them.
FANTASTIC FOOD and ATMOSPHERE
The staff here are very warm and welcoming whilst ensuring stict covid prevention measures are in place. The food was excellent. Menu varied and full of locally sourced produce. Very reasonably priced. Immaculately clean inside. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Fantastic stay
Warm welcome meticulous covid precautions, including temperature check on arrival. Wonderful large room1 with east and west facing windows ,maximising sun and views. Perfect location for exploring the best Borders scenery. Good well cooked pub food especially breakfast. Mare a return visit and recommended to friends.
Great food!
I have been here a few times for lunch, both cycling and driving and the food is always really good, fresh and very reasonably priced. Staff are friendly and helpful. It is a very scenic area and its definitely worth planning a stop here if you are touring.
Great Sunday Lunch..... good location.....
We came across the Gordon Arms on the way through the Borders to Edinburgh. We got a great welcome and it was clearly popular with the locals calling in for Sunday Lunch. Service was excellent and the food was good, home cooked and good value for money. Parking was easy and Covid policies were being followed to the letter.
