Perfect one night for Pre Alaskan cruise
Reviewed 28 august, 2021
We went to Oregon & Washington a week before our Alaskan cruise so we need a hotel that closes enough to downtown Seattle and has an onsite laundry facilities. This hotel fits the bill perfectly. The laundry is in each floor so it is so convenient. We came in early with the intention to drop off our suitcases. The rep was able to check us in early( a little after 11 am) so it was great. I would stay here again if we visited Seattle again.

Some good things: --Anjelica at the front desk was super helpful. She gave us a nice upgrade because of our status and was consistently helpful and friendly. Sometimes it seemed like she was running the whole place by herself. --Our room was large with a microwave and fridge, which was very helpful. --The hotel is close to downtown and is a shortish walk to there and to the Space Needle. Convenient. Not-so-good: --I told the gentleman at the front desk in the morning to please send housekeeping because we needed it and after returning from a long day, we were not happy to find that the room was not made up at all! --The bed was surprisingly not comfortable. Both my and my wife's backs were hurting. --The room was a bit old with a chipped toilet, windows that had some opaqueness to them, a very loud fan in the bathroom that was connected to the main light, and randomly placed furniture --I was amazed that there was NO BOTTLE OPENER. I needed to open a beer but they had none in the whole hotel. How is that possible?!?! I actually had to walk to Walgreens to buy one!
Nice but definitely dated!

It’s definitely in need of a cosmetic touch up-walls, bathrooms, elevator! It’s nice for a short stay-2 days. But tends to get the attention of a seedy character or two. Front desk was very helpful w towels & airport transfer. Bed was comfortable but no toiletries in bathrooms.
This hotel does not clean rooms for five days unless requested!

Don't believe the IHG Clean Room promise. At this hotel, rooms are only cleaned upon request. No advance notification of this and they do not have any signs in the lobby or rooms saying they only clean upon request. Very frustrating if you come back in the evening, tired, to find no clean towels or soap and untidy beds and a not so empty trash can. Poor customer service. Front Desk agents are rude to hotel guests and yell at their customers. They refrain from wearing name badges so you cannot identify them if you want to file a complaint. No breakfast at this hotel. They will send you to a neighboring hotel. No swimming pool at this location. Hotel is in a good location near the Space Needle, but a good 20 minute walk from Pikes Market and a 30 minute walk from Pioneer Park.

This hotel is a good location for downtown Seattle. Most attractions & restaurants are within a mile. Masks were required everywhere we went including the hotel. The restaurant was closed so it was a 15+ minute walk to eat. The room was clean with a fridge, microwave & sink. Towels were soft & I loved the bed & pillow (firm). The neighborhood was okay. I was uncomfortable with the many homeless & tent cities around. It was a "healthy" walk to Pike Place & the Waterfront but close to the Space Needle & Chuily Gardens
