More about the hotel
January in Sedona
We have stayed at this hotel every year for a number of years The staff is amazingly friendly. The facilities have been upgraded. They take great care of the rooms and grounds. We highly recommend the hotel
Great hotel, clean, comfy rooms
I booked a last minute room through Hotwire, and the Arabella is the hotel we got. I would definitely book to stay at this hotel again. The rooms are very comfortable, the beds are comfortable but the pillows are a little too soft. There are two pools and hot tubs. Outdoor fire pits with nice seating areas. The hotel offers different activities, we had a night of star gazing and local wine sampling. Breakfast was offered in the morning. Very clean property, staff was very friendly. No elevators. So if you cannot walk stairs request a room on the first floor. Many of the rooms have balconies or patios with seating to enjoy the outdoors.
Arabella - Great ambience with excellent location
Reception area is very well decorated and organized. Rooms exceptionally beautiful and very well decorated. Staff is great and extremely helpful. Some rooms location is better than others, so try to get those that overlook the swimming pool/courtyard, it is worth the additional cost. Unlike other hotels in the area, Arabella is Strategically located very close to the art district/corridor. Plenty of parking space. Swimming pool area is very beautiful with comfortable seats and heaters.
Eh could’ve better.
I think it’s reasonable because it’s so close to the hike area but other than that it’s just a one step from a red roof. Front desk we’re snarky and unhelpful. I used to be a night auditor and I can tell when hotel staff put in effort and this “hotel” clearly didn’t.
Nice hotel
We just spent 3 nights at Arabella to visit Sedona and its surroundings. The rooms are nice, decorated simply but with taste and the beds are comfortable. Each room has either a balcony or a small terrasse. The style of the hotel is very nice and reminds me of what it might have been like to go to a chic hotel on the west coast in the 60s. There is a heated pool, a jacuzzi and a few fire pits. They dont own a restaurant but they host a very nice Mexican restaurant on site. On the drawback side, their breakfast is quite limited and one has to either take the food back to their room or eat outside, which is not great in Winter. I would still recommend this hotel but make sure you have a room on the 2nd floor so you dont hear your neighbours above you.
