Excellent location right in old town in a pedestrian area Rooms seem smallish, but workable Hotel has a period feel to it, but is maintained fairly well. There is free parking nearby, 5-10 mins walk from hotel (hotel sent us an SMS the day before we arrived with extensive details around parking options, both paid and free)
Great location
We really enjoyed or stay at this hotel. Brilliant location in the heart of the city where all the sites are within walking distance, The rooms are compact but clean.The history of the hotel is fascinating and we enjoyed the artefacts from the cinema past. Staff were helpful and pleasant Great views from the top terrace. It is not easy to find even with a sat nav. Parking is quite expensive at 15 euros a night.
Lovely hotel in the heart of the city
We initially booked a hotel room but was contacted by a staff member prior to arrival offering an apartment. The apartments are situated next door to the hotel and were perfect- very clean, well appointed and comfortable. There is a rooftop area with a barbecue for guests. The staff are fabulous , professional and always willing to help. I would have no problem recommending this hotel.
Four stars, but...
The accommodation and the location are the highlights, but it has not a 4 star service. The breakfast is very very poor. No laundry service. The first room that was given hasn’t a closet for the clothes. Fortunately the day after they gave me a new room with closet. They offer a parking valet, but only from 8H on...
Excellent cosy hotel
Very cosy hotel in the very heart of the old city with very interesting and rich cinematografic history. A lot of movie stars liked to stay here in 1950-60. Excellent location: 3 min by foot from the Cathedral, 5 min from Aqueduct and about 10 min from bus station. Classic old fashion design of the lobby and halls with fireplaces and nice panoramic balcony and modern rooms. Comfy beds. Kettle, set of tea, sugar, decaf instant coffee, creamer and bottles of water refilled daily. A little bit tricky deposit box with a key. Wonderfull roof-top panoramic terrace with breathtaking wiev of all landmarks. Good observation point to meet picturesque sunset. Very attentative staff. Good breakfast. The only negative side - breakfast is served starting from 8am - it's better to start it earlier. I really fealt like home there and may recommend Hotel Real Segovia without any reservations
