Overall this hotel is very average but because it was so cheap I find it difficult to complain too harshly. Rooms were adequate, clean but dated. Pool nice size and deep but steps were dangerous when climbing out, bottom step on one set was broken and I can imagine someone slicing their foot open on the sharp edge. Breakfast was adequate, once again for the price no complaints. I had a couple lunches unfortunately one time there was a long black hair on the side of my plate. Would I stay there again? probably not as I'm not a fan of Seminyak, once again it was exactly as I expected for the price.

Let me start with the good points, the pool is amazing, the location is close to shops and the beach, the bed was comfortable and the staff friendly. Now what i did not like, the internet was patchy, th noise of the traffic made it hard to sleep, the walls were dirty, there was a nail sticking out of the bed that i cut my leg on, the pool ladder was broken and a hazard, the worst breakfast i have had in Bali. Would we stay here again, yeah if there was nothing else available in this price range

Older hotel, but great value and decent location

This property is older, but it is a great value for the money. I stayed in a downstairs villa, which had a decent sized room and a large bathroom. A big plus was that there was a large private patio, with a small outdoor kitchen. The breakfast was good, and the pool area is very nice. And, although the property is older, it was clean. The area is right in the middle of Jln. Seminyak, and Jln. Legian, with about a 15 minute walk to the beach. I was pleasantly surprised by my stay at Puri Dewa Bharata Hotel, because I had stayed at Dewa Bharata Bungalows in Candidasa earlier in my trip, which was truly awful.

Stayed in 2 bedroom villa. I should point out that this was NOT suitable for young families like mine, as it is basically 2 separated villas with 2 separate entrances, so i couldn't really leave my kids (9&7) in one and me totally separate in the other. The staff ended up putting an extra bed in the upstairs villa so i could stay in there with the kids. Both villas were quite old inside, but reasonably well maintained. The rooms are very big. The aircon in the top villa really struggled so it would get uncomfortably hot during the day. The downstairs villa fared much better temp wise probably due to its smaller size and being downstairs it stayed nice and cool. Upstairs had a key lock to enter (no modern swipe cards here), while the bottom villa had a piece of wood you would slide through 2 holes on the back of the door to lock it!!! Very 1800's! Pool area is quite nice as was the daily breakfast. Location is about 500m walk from the main street but there is some good food nearby too.

A nice quiet hotel in an antique Balinese style. Rooms are spacious, but could do with more amenities. Nice pool area, tasty breakfast. Lovely service. Definitely a good value for money, no hesitation in recommending
