Does the job.
Great location for visiting Parc Asterix, Chantilly and Paris. It is also only a 15min into the lovely centre of Senlis itself. Staff were very friendly, room was clean and refurbished. It was a small room but quiet which is the main thing. Plenty of car parking available. We also visited the restaurant one evening where, again, the staff were very nice and the service was good. There is a lot of choice on the menu but mostly burgers, steaks etc. The desserts were very nice. Breakfast is a cold buffet and a simple affair - cereal, yoghurt, cheese, bread, fruit, pastries. All good quality though. We will likely stay here again.
Nice Surprise
The rooms in the hotel have undergone a major makeover, nice colours, new style finishings etc. The new look is nice and cosy. The hotel is literally just off the motorway from/to Paris, which makes it a perfect stopover. Good selection at breakfast. Friendly and efficient staff. Good large parking area, with some Tesla recharging bays. Recommended.
Good budget hotel
I stayed here because I was doing a half-marathon at the Chateau de Chantilly which is a short drive away and needed to acclimatise for a few days before the run, especially in terms of jet lag, as I had flown in from the other side of the world. This hotel was great value for money for that purpose. The room was quite spacious for a budget hotel, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was basic but good value. I found the staff very helpful and kind. The city of Senlis is a short walk away and I loved exploring this absolutely beautiful, gem of a place, but it was expensive to get around otherwise as I didn't have a car.
TOTALLY RECOMMENDED
No-frills, clean, functional accommodation. No hidden agenda. You know exactly where you are with these 'formula', incredibly cheap hotels. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. And our dog could stay in the room.
Clean and cheap
This place is actually better than I expected when my husband said we were staying at an ibis budget, it’s clean, the room was well decorated and had plenty of storage to help mitigate the size of it. Cheap and simple but totally value for money. We only stayed one night as we were only passing through but it close to the motorway so, really handy. Would recommend.
