We booked a room here very last minute on a quick trip to visit our son in Knoxville. The room was large and clean. The hallways smelled fresh and clean. The beds were comfortable. Shower had wonderful pressure. The hot breakfast was very tasty and well maintained. Will certainly stay again!!
Once a nice hotel, but has gone downhill over the past 3 years. Most likely will avoid.

My family has stayed at this hotel for years but noticed over the last several visits it was declining. Staff has always been friendly -- it's the overall maint./mgmt. of the property that is a concern. We were so tired the first night and they were so booked we didn't even complain but our room smelled terrible--heavy mold/mildew smell, almost like wet carpet but it was so overpowering. The air conditioning was caked with dust and the filters were so thick with dust there was no way it was working properly. There was a heavy presence of mold in the bathroom on the ceiling and walls and there was hair in the bathtub. Nearly every door we saw was peeling and bubbled up at the bottom. There were coins on the floor, indicating it most likely had not been vacuumed. Had it not been for the Lysol we had with us we could not have stood to stay. The second night after we were certain they'd had some check outs we asked to be moved. They did not hesitate to move us across the hall--that room was much better, however there was still a lingering smell of mold/mildew in the rooms and the hall. Saddened because for years we stayed here to avoid the noise of the strip and the overcrowding of the pools, etc. We will be seeking another place to stay going forward.
Don’t stop here

To begin with the staff is wonderful. That’s where it ends. Pool was more like a large bath tub with green mold growing around edges. They tried to clean it up but were not too successful. Corners of carpet missed by cleaner were disgustingly dirty. Sofa bed which we needed had broken springs in middle. I don’t understand reviews that thought this place was clean. We were stuck there for 2 nights. We spent last night in a spotless holiday inn.
Awful, please avoid

The front desk employees are very nice; however, there were multiple things that went wrong during our stay. First, we couldn’t check in until 3-4 hours after our stay. Second, multiple room keys wouldn’t work. Third, the pool is extremely small and the hot tub was out of order. The longer we stayed, the more we noticed such as mold on the wall behind the peeling wallpaper. Warped doors in the bathroom. It appears to have had water damage at some point. The pull out sleeper was broken, so we couldn’t use that at all. The price is way too high considering the issues and the items we couldn’t even utilize. This is not the employees fault, but whoever overlooks this property seriously needs to renovate and fix these issues. One of the worst hotels I’ve ever stayed at and the only thing that made it better were your sweet employees.
This was once a nice hotel, my advice would be to skip it.

This is the 3rd time and likely to be the final time that we stay at this Comfort Suites. Each year that we have stayed here the property has become less and less well kept. Honestly, if it wasn’t for a very nice couple of ladies at check in and a nice gentleman at the desk in the morning and an extremely busy week in town we would have packed up and moved to a different hotel. The rooms are looking very tired and being poorly maintained. The cleaning of the hotel is falling off and things are really starting to look dingy. The parking lot is completely dark. There are 4 light poles in the park and only part of one in the front works at all. It’s dark and not safe at all when walking on uneven surfaces. Even though no staff is wearing masks, housekeeping is still not a thing? I would highly recommend skipping this Comfort Suites and staying at one of the other great hotels in this area. I am a loyal Choice Customer and travel 25-50 nights a year in hotels. This hotel was at one time very nice and it’s sad to see what it has become.
