Don't stay here

Reviewed 7 october, 2021

Door Jamb on outside door was all busted up, I looked like someone had taken a crowbar to it. Barely able to lock the door. Hallway door was also very hard to get locked. Card reader didn't work on outside door, so we had to use the hallway entrance. Carpet was dirty. Something gross was spilled on the edge of the mattress. Bathroom was dingy. People sitting outside their rooms chain smoking on both sides of our room. Breakfast was OK. Would have went somewhere else, but it was late and we were tired.

Avoid this place

Reviewed 28 june, 2021

If I could give this place a minus 10 I would. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had. We drove 15 hours from Oklahoma for a relative’s memorial service. Unbeknownst to us, we were visiting during two biker rallies and the hotel was full to capacity. Our family rented two rooms. When we got to one of our rooms, the air conditioner didn’t work. I went to the front desk to tell them, and was told that a part was on order and they didn’t know when it would be in. They knowingly rented this room to us with a broken air conditioner. I asked if we could move rooms and no rooms were available. I asked for a fan. No fans were available. This hotel was not prepared for the number of visitors they had. We ran out of clean towels and I asked a housekeeper for more towels. She stated there were none available. Really? At a hotel? So I was forced to go to Walmart and buy a fan and towels for our stay. I tried to find other accommodations, but because of the rallies there were no rooms available even in surrounding towns. I asked every day whether another room was available and the answer was no each day. The morning breakfasts were a disaster. Three out of four days the coffee machine was broken. Every time we left the building, our room keys quit working. We had to go to the front desk every time we left and came back to get our room keys reactivated. I complained several times to the front desk employees. Not once did they ever offer an apology for our troubles. I told the front desk employee that I didn’t feel like should have to pay for the room with the broken air conditioner. They said they would have the manager get with me, and that never happened. I called Choice Hotels directly to complain and ask for a refund of the price for one of the rooms. Choice Hotels called the hotel and they said they would refund one night’s stay. Choice Hotels gave me the number to call the hotel directly which I did. Heather, evidently the manager, asked me why I didn’t report any of these problems and I told her I did, every day, to the front desk staff. By this time I was very upset. Heather told me I wouldn’t get anywhere by being “sh*tty” to her. Bottom line the name of this hotel should be “Poor Quality Inn.” The only thing good I can say about it is that it’s right off the highway in a convenience location. Run, don’t walk away from this place.

A Hotel by the Interstate

Reviewed 24 june, 2021

This is a pretty ordinary hotel by the interstate. It is not new, but it is in decent shape. My room was fine, everything worked as it should. The breakfast was ordinary ChoiceHotels fare, except no fruit juice. Their fruit juice machine was broken. I would rate this hotel between a 3 and 4, but I had the room for free on points.

A place to avoid

Reviewed 10 november, 2019

Our 1st room was so filthy we requested a move. There was an accumulation of dirt and dust so thick behind the bed you could smell it. The second room was better, but we would have looked for another motel had it not been so late in the day. Quality Inns are usually quite acceptable, but this one should be avoided.

Very clean, comfortable bed.

Reviewed 25 september, 2019

Very clean, super comfortable bed, good coffee. My husband made our travel reservations and as we were coming into Sheridan I checked the reviews on Trip Advisor. Was worried about staying here after reading recent reviews but no worries necessary! Very nice motel. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom very clean too. Great bed! Definitely recommend!
