very interesting place to spend a holiday a five star service. the rooms are top notch super clean. the services are awesome worth recommending. The best place to spend time while in Siaya . the garden and the restaurant services are amazing

Distinction Gardens is a nice place to stay and the location in Siaya is good. Rooms are spacious enough but layout is a little weird with too many doors separating each area. Mosquito nets available. Internet works in reception area. Staff is friendly and helpful. Restaurant staff is friendly but food service is extremely slow. The gardens are a pleasant place to sit and enjoy either a drink or your meal. Lots of nice trees for shade.

Quality service with international standards, loved every bit, nice food, nice beddings, nice garden. The best hotel in Siaya so far. Kudos to the owner of the hotel with the new concept is revolutionizing Saiya

Pleasant surprise

We had seen a few good reviews and sought out Distinction Gardens for an overnight stay that was not too far from the center of Siaya town, but wondered if we were in the right place, as the entrance gate had no sign (after the sign on the main road) and you are entering at the back of the facility that looks like it could be a warehouse. Locals on the road assured us that was the place. From there on it was all positive. The staff was super friendly and helpful, the facility and grounds were quite well maintained and clean, the room was spacious enough, with a separate sitting room and bedroom, and a separate room for the toilet to separate it from the shower. The shower had nice hot water (from a tank, not instant). The bed was comfortable and we slept well. The restaurant menu was limited but that didn't really matter as the food was delicious. Buffet breakfast also was nicely done. I had to work a few hours in the morning and needed good internet. The wifi was good in public areas like the restaurant, though we could not get a usable signal in the room. Still, I could sit in the spacious restaurant and work comfortably at a table, so all was well. What I don't understand is why this place did not show up in Tripadvisor when I searched on Siaya. I had to find it another way. Hope TA will improve their visibility, as this is a very pleasant stay in Siaya.

This is pleasant place for meetings and conferencing in the heart of Siaya. Very clean and with modern facilities. The internet works and is strong. Food is fresh and well prepared. Rooms not too many but well maintained and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it if your in that nuke of Kenya and wondering where to have your meeting or stay for the night.
