Hi all I've just got back from a 11 night stay in hanay suite Hotel side I had a lovely time the hotel is so clean and friendly the staff are really friendly and helpful especially Billy he will do anything he can to help you he's funny and kind and really looked after me 💙 the pool is great and so clean rooms very spacious it's also safe and secure good air con its set in a good location with really GOOD RESTAURANTS shops not far away is beach harbour and old town and lots of excursions. The only downfall is the food don't book half board or breakfast the food is not good at all sadly there's so many restaurants outside that are excellent and cheap you don't need to eat at hotel if the food was good I would of given 5 STARS NOT 4 BIG SHOUT TO BILLY HE'S A GREAT GUY🌟😁

I’m there now. There is no A/C in the room! You have to pay extra. I chose Half-Board but ALL drinks you have to pay for, even water for my kids I pay 8 times more than if I buy from the supermarket. And I found out only in the day 5, nobody said to me this Stuff is really rude! All customers rude as well! Only Turkish people here from small villages who will throw garbage to the swimming pool, they broke my kids toys and even didn’t apologize. Avoid this place!!!
Pleasant Stay, great location and lovely, helpful staff.

Firstly, booked the hotel on a personal recommendation from a friend who has stayed here before, and overall very happy with our stay. The first thing I want to highlight is the hotel in now starting to show some signs of 'wear & tear' which can only be expected of a hotel of it's age and one that has a high volume of visitors who all have different levels of respect to the accommodation and how they look after it, photo of the damage to one of the settee's arms included, which I took on arrival as evidence. On arrival the checking in was painless and within 10 minutes we were in our room. We booked 'self catering' and before we flew, I emailed the hotel with several queries to what was provided, each of our queries were answered in a timely manner and we knew exactly what would be needed. One question was whether they supplied a toaster, which they don't and I can only guess this is to do with 'fire safety'?. Anyway, the main thing for us was a kettle and we took our own brew kit and brought milk locally. Basic kitchen utensils are provided, plates, bowls, cups, glasses, KFS, pots, pans and we had a small chopping board. The one bedroom apartment was on the 1st floor in Block C (picture from the baloney included) and was fine in that it was clean and for the amount of time we spent in it, it was more then big enough. The double bed was fine and you only get a 'bedspread' type cover, which again for us was OK, 2 pillows on the bed and two spare in the wardrobe. The shower water pressure was good. The towels were clean, but showing their age (old), however did the job. Toilet paper was supplied and replaced when needed. We used the pool area on the first few days and had no problem getting sun beds. The 'bar/restaurant' like the hotel was fine, lovely staff, reasonably priced and the one meal we had was good. One word of warning, and this is not the fault of the hotel, unfortunately on two occasions late at night, some of the other guests had no regard or respect to the other people staying there when they decided to fall out, which led to very loud arguments and we could but not hear it, and one the 1st occasion woke us up. Everything on the 'door step' for self catering, and some lovely bars and restaurants very close by. Free Wi-Fi just about workable from our balcony, otherwise you have to pay for the faster connection, safe box also has to be paid for and the same for aircon, which we managed not to need. If you want to spend the majority of your time around a pool, next to the bar, then this hotel would suit you. Now we have stayed and seen what else is available in Side, I doubt we would use this again, and this is purely based on we preferred to use the beach and in future would look at an apartment without a pool/bar as the noise could be a issue. In summary, great valve for money, clean, basic and very helpful staff.

This is my 80th hotel stay on the Antalya coast and this is a short review for a change! Pros: Excellent staff - hard working, good English and professional Immaculately clean throughout and well-kept gardens and pool Clearly the rooms were refurbished not so long ago Disability-friendly (though ask for a ground floor or adapted room if required) Good-value pool bar/restaurant with huge menu (meal options from £2 to £20, drinks are a little pricey) Self-catering facilities in almost all rooms/apartments Superb on-site spa at very reasonable prices and with an amazing masseur - highly recommended! A choice of supermarkets and shops within 100m The excellent Cihan restaurant literally 5m away from reception Fast hotel-wide wi-fi at £1/day (and free slow wi-fi by the pool/bar) Free bus service to the quiet Eastern beach (but pricey beach bars there) Cons Very basically-equipped kitchenette (no toaster, tin-opener, bottle-opener, sparse utensils, tea towel, etc,) The ‘lounge’ area of our one-bed apartments only had single beds to sit on - nowhere comfortable unless lying down Inconsistent food from the bar - we had some good meals and some terrible. Never the same twice. The music at the pool/bar was often so loud and horrible that we chose instead to eat out Toiletries are limited to toilet rolls and a hotel bar of soap No soap dish/tray or shaving mirror in the shower room Air-conditioning is an extra £4/day The noise at the bar usually continued until after 2 in the morning Advice This is a basic self-catering apartment complex. Plan head: Bring your own beach/pool towel Bring toiletries and hand mirror If you intend self-catering you will need more than provided The Cihan restaurant opposite is one of the best eateries in Side and costs about the same as the hotel bar The ‘greengrocers’ 100m towards the Anadolu hospital on the main road is better value than the supermarkets Tell the bar staff how awful the music is, and then they may get more business The cheapest shop in town for basics is the A-101 just across the road Notes My mother and I only visited this time of year (late September/early October) because she needed dental treatment she could not get it in the UK. We usually visit in the winter season when temperatures are more bearable and five-star, all-inclusive hotel rates are a steal. This visit was necessary. Oddly for this area, every hotel guest was British. I thought one day there were some Turkish guests but they turned out to be British-Asian. I think the staff must have been chosen for their excellent English language skills. It is a little British enclave in Side! I think we made a good choice but I wish I had known what I know now - hence this review! Please feel free to ask me questions.
