Had a great three-day getaway at the Ranch. Loved everything from the comfortable and cozy accommodations to the adorable resident dogs. They were friendly to our older little girl who had a great time playing with them. Our stay couldn't have been better thanks to our hosts Michael and Cathy. They went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. This is a must stay for anyone who enjoys some quite time in this little bit of paradise.

We were looking for a quiet getaway & couldn’t have found a better retreat! After each day of exploring the area, we couldn’t wait to get back to the Lazy Dog Ranch. We were entertained by all the animals & our lovely hostess, Cathy! And to top it off, we visited on a gorgeous full moon! Thanks, Lazy Dog, for a perfect vacation!

Great place to take your dog

We spent a lovely weekend here with our elderly dog. He had a great time with the resident dogs and loved walking by the river. I haven’t seen him so happy in a long time! The Casa rental was clean and well stocked. The owners are knowledgeable and responsive. There were delicious home baked goodies every morning, and there were Irish coffees at night. Cathy and Michael are excellent hosts, and it is obvious that they genuinely love animals. Highly recommend this unique rental!

My sister and I stayed for 2 nights at the Lazy Dog Ranch and wish we had stayed longer! The property location and fantastic hospitality of our hostess, Cathy made our visit very relaxing, comfortable, and memorable. We had the pleasure of enjoying a spectacular riparian corridor within a short walk; so many birds, so quiet and refreshing. We felt quite at home with the casual and artistic folk ambiance created by Cathy’s great flare. Our early morning breakfasts were amazing with all fresh fruits and home cooked treats. The pool was clean and refreshing, and the patio perfect for outside “cocktail hour” enjoyment. The beds and all room accommodations were perfect, and our casita was full of helpful and informative materials about the area and local habitat. We loved sharing stories with our friendly and highly accommodating hostess. I truly hope I can come here again!
