Very good value for money, very convenient for the NEC, hearty cooked breakfast, very welcoming host, and the coffee machine in the kitchen was a big plus for us. We wondered if we'd be able to hear the nearby train line but we needn't have worried, lovely and quiet. Nice gardens too with an area to sit out in the Summer. Definitely our number 1 place to stay for NEC events from here on in.

Stayed at the Haymills for a couple of nights,the room was very clean and comfortable, we requested an early breakfast and nothing was to much trouble for our host .We will definitely be using yhe Haymills when in the area next

Firstly to start with the positives. This is a lovely looking property, just off the main road but it isn’t affected by road noise. Staff are lovely, friendly, helpful and breakfast was delicious. Room was of a nice size but dirty, far too dirty to overlook. A layer of dust could be found on the base of the table lamp, visible cobwebs in the corner of the bedroom ceiling and a smelly bathroom. The standard of finish of the decorating was poor and a previous water leak still visible in the bedroom The worst for me was the shower - are picture, that’s the bottom corner of the shower door. There’s no excuse for filth like that.

My friend and I were visiting Birmingham for some shopping as an early birthday break for myself and after reading the great reviews for Haymills we decided to stay there. So glad we did as we had a lovely 1 night stay. Our room overlooking the garden was large and comfortable and breakfast was fabulous. Jamie was so friendly and helpful and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.

Stayed here as attending a conference at the National Conference Centre. Very happy with everything about the stay. Friendly welcome on arrival; decent sized room; very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent as well. Will definitely stay again when next in the area.
