Staying at The White Lion was just lovely. Gorgeous rooms and very accommodating staff. Such a quick trip by train to get to the NEC so super location and price was fab including a lovely full English. We will definitely return 10 out of 10👌

Sometimes you are so pleasantly surprised by a place that you want to tell everyone about it. Do you like staying in luxury hotels where a room is a suite and the shower is a Spa. With gym and room service for your prosecco breakfast, which you can enjoy in your bathrobe in a king-size bed, with wake-up service and a star-studded restaurant, you'll probably be a bit disappointed here. But definitely book this hotel if you want to be immersed in friendliness, humour, damn good food and the feeling of being an instant part of an ancient local community. In this beautiful 400-year-old property, locals and guests literally come together. Here, people drink a glass in the fantastic pub and talk and laugh with each other. A blessing when you've been working long days on exhibition at the NEC. Almost better than coming home ;-)

I arrived and was surprised to see that you had to pay for parking, although you could register your vehicle registration number which I did with the help of a member of staff. I was surprised to say the least to receive a parking fine notice of 100 pounds, 60 if I paid immediately. I will appeal but would advise anyone to avoid this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We stayed for one night while attending a friend's birthday party at nearby Copt Heath golf club, we had room 10 which was in a small block in the garden area ,the room was good and had everything we needed only downside was that as it was a steepish staircase into the room a handrail would have been nice, The bar is a nice place to visit with a good atmosphere and a good selection of real ales, breakfast was very good and overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again
