Too much outside light!
Over all the stay was okay, room was clean, bed comfortable, there was just too much outside light for me to sleep well. CHANGE OUTSIDE LIGHTING OR TURN IT OFF!! I was there for two nights, so I didn't make a big deal of it.
Tucked away
Nice clean place , a couple sirens heard at night Tucked behind , but worth the search Problem with vending machine Resolved by front desk quickly Would stay again, handcleaner and gloves available as you walk in
Don’t waste your time here!
I would highly recommend staying at one of the multiple hotels within walking distance of this hotel rather than this particular hotel. The Hilton next door is very nice and they have excellent, accommodating staff. The Microtel’s staff is disgusting and rude. I submitted a complaint to the manager, and he did nothing but relay lies from their front desk agent rather than apologize for her behavior, so I have resorted to writing a review. The woman working the front desk at 9pm on September 6, 2020 was extremely rude to me and my partner on the phone prior to, and then during check-in. We booked one room for two people for the night of September 6 - September 7, but her computer was showing two rooms booked. She told me I needed to go online to cancel, but since my Wyndham account was only showing one room reservation I asked her to cancel the extra one (I couldn’t see this extra reservation and couldn’t cancel it). She refused. I hung up the phone so that we could sort it out during check in. I arrived at the hotel around 8:45pm, and she again refused to cancel the extra reservation. I tried showing her my account, which stated that I had one room reserved for two people. She refused to look at the page, and kept insisting that I booked two rooms. She finally relented and canceled the extra reservation, and we began the check-in process. She then asked “did you hang up the phone on me?” I said yes, because it would be easier to sort it out in person (obviously, since we finally figured it out only when we had talked face to face). She said “well that was f***ing rude”. She had an attitude the entire time, with everyone who checked in ahead of us (two groups). She genuinely seemed to hate her job, which I can understand since she seems to be doing it poorly. I ended up staying at a Hilton across the parking lot, where I received a comparable price, excellent service from the front desk, and the lobby was cleaner and better maintained than the Microtel.
DISGUSTING WITH BODY FLUIDS and PUBIC HAIR ON SHEETS DO NOT STAY HERE!!
Do not stay in this hotel!! I checked into my room and noticed dirty sheets on the bed with pubic hairs, body fluid stains, crumbs in the refrigerator, and poor management. Stay away from this germ infested hotel!
Ft Jackson Family Day
Hotel location was great however the cleanliness and quality of bath linen was unacceptable. Stains and holes in wash clots and towels. Stains on shower curtains. Toilet bowl missing and or loose bolts. TV remote was the worst and in certain issue wouldn’t work at all.
