I love this hotel, very good location, 5 minutes walk to heavenly gondola and close to all the restaurants and shops. We rented the 1 bedrooms suite and the rooms was big and clean. All the staffs members are nice and helpful. Very good breakfast included.

A fantastic trip to South Lake Tahoe with the family. The service was great, clean rooms and the location is perfect for ski trip or just a getaway to the mountains. You don't need to drive your car as the village is next door, casinos 1-block away and a ton of restaurants, bars and shops all surrounding the resort. We'll be back!

Super friendly staff - and the free breakfast was pretty good (and included). The location can’t be beat! Also - the free parking was great. The downsides - the cable didn’t work - and the walkways in some areas were very icy -also the shower pressure was very low, but that may be a California thing. The hotel is definitely showing its age and could use a pretty serious face lift. Overall - The price was good provided the excellent location and I would definitely stay again given the friendly staff and the superiors location for skiing at Heavenly.

The accommodations were clean and spacious. The staff was helpful and expedited any requests that our group made. Eric who worked the front desk was great and was very helpful things to do around town along with some great recommendations on which mountains and runs to hit. Forest Suites is conveniently located near Heavenly Village and the Gondola. I would recommend Forest Suites if you are looking value, cleanliness, and location. Shawn/Schussmeisters' of Michigan

Nice old school hotel

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel. It definitely has an old-school charm. However, it was clear that some parts of the hotel were in need of a renovation. The furnishings in the room were showing signs of wear and tear, and the bathroom could have benefited from an update. Despite this, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive.
