No peace and quiet

Reviewed 21 february, 2023

The best part of this hotel is the hot tub. It goes downhill from there. 1. No housekeeping 2. Not cheap, otherwise I’d be more forgiving 3. Loud heating system 4. Can hear everything in the hall 5, Cab hear your neighbours 6. Can hear the people above you. 7. Rooms small-ish. So when a place like this approaches $300/night… They were kind enough to let me leave a day early. But the place needs a big renovation to address the noise issues.

Average but clean

Reviewed 12 february, 2023

Stayed here for one night this Saturday for my birthday. They let us check in early. Parking was close to the room and hotel isn't too far from where we wanted to go. Room was very clean. I thought the bed was going to be uncomfortable because it was bouncy and made noise, but it wasn't too bad. Fridge and microwave worked and was clean. The reason for 3 star was because the heater was SO LOUD! It rattled constantly. We ended up turning it off and froze just so we could get a few hours of sleep. Won't stay here again because of that.

Unethical Business, Book Elsewhere

Reviewed 28 december, 2022

With upcoming storm in Tahoe, the resort did not give a full refund for cancellation. Kept the one night deposit. Also mentioned that the "storm will not be that big", as they say that the lifts are CLOSED. Shady business practices, would not recommend booking with them.

Excellent Boutique hotel

Medium small privately owned hotel. Older property nicely updated. Room had new grey wood flooring, well maintained Jacuzzi, was large suite. Two TVs..both large. Good bed and pillows. Good computer desk. Clerk polite and helpful....at request, suggested suitable restaurants for dinner n breakfast.

beautiful, accessible, affordable

These updated suites were a lovely stay for our wedding party. The hotel was highly accommodating, and I liked the security of requiring a keycard to access the lodge. The walls are fairly thin and the mattress had some old springs, making for a few early wake-ups. I loved the private balconies, and our suite had a nice view of the lake, but with this came highway traffic that prevented us from leaving the sliding door open overnight. That said, that door blocks the noise very well! Cleanliness was above-average for hotels, and staff is very willing to stop and help with whatever guests need. Parking (permit-required) was readily available at all times. The location is wonderful for walking.
