Quaint hotel near the town centre
The room we had was rather small, but adequate. Cleanliness and hygiene are rigidly maintained. The breakfast was good. The evening meal we had in the very overpriced on-site restaurant was excellent, but many other good restaurants at half the price are available in the town centre - which is a short walk away. Drinks in the pub are also very overpriced, compared to the local average. Staff is very friendly.
One night stay on a biking trip
Small hotel. Glad we were on the ground floor, didn't relish totoing bags up the stairs. Staff was helpful. Room was a bit small but had all the amenties we needed. Close to town center and the tourist sites with some good views of the surrounding area. Would stay agin
Great small hotel in good location
On our trip through to Wien we decided to stop in the charming town of Mikulov. We had pre booked this hotel which turned out to be a good choice. Nice location, close to the synagogue and just a few stairs away from the castle in a quiet street. The centre is just a few meters away. Nice rooms, but the stairs to our room at the top floor were VERY steep. Very good restaurant and good breakfast on the outside terrace. It came as a surprise that the parking lot was equipped with 3 chargers for electric cars. As we are driving one, this was great. What was not so great was that the lots were occupied by non electric cars although there were a lot of other lots free. Would absolutely recommend a sign on these chargers to avoid them being occupied. We had to wait unti next morning when some of the other guests had left before we could charge. Highly recommended hotel.
Amazing food, very good wine selection but hotel part lack behind and requires significant improvement
Food was just excellent, everything we had was great and also reasonably priced relative to the quality. It is sad that the hotel part lack behind in a big way. We had an attic room. It was an exercise to get to the second floor but on top of it there was a spiral staircase to the room so narrow that a slim person can climb with a small luggage but forget about getting there with a big bag or a suitcase. It is for very fit people. Unfortunately is was not everything. There was a mildew due to water leaks through the roof. The furniture was very basic. Towels worn by washing. For the price we paid unacceptable.
Great restaurant but rooms are basic
We had two great meals in the restaurant here. BUT: There’s no lift and the stairs to the upper floors are very steep; Our room didn’t have any ancillary seating so we had to sit on the bed; The bed was uncomfortable.
