I visited here today with a work colleague for lunch. We were both very impressed. The food was really good, quick service,piping hot and really tasty. They have good wifi, which mean we could work whilst we were enjoying our lunch.

We had our wedding reception at the Broadway Hotel. A table was laid for 13 adults, 3 children, with an added high chair, in a quiet area of the restaurant/bar. Decorations were set up ready for us, and as we ordered drinks well in advance, they were ready and waiting for us. Over the next 3 hours, everything went perfectly. The table service was fantastic. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious. I can't recommend this place highly enough. The Sunday roasts are wonderful, too.

Quick night away to visit daughter

Had a quick 1 night stay here and my husband and I were not disappointed. Lovely place with helpful staff. Room very comfortable with no frills. Comfy large bed which I had a very good sleep. Food also was very good indeed. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to see my daughter.

A good Carvery.

We had our second Carvery since the re vamp today. It was delicious. Before Covid, we used to go quite regularly because my husband liked it but I was getting less and less enthusiastic as it was not very clean and very shabby and I wasn't too impressed with the food anymore. My husband convinced me to give it another go a few months ago and what a surprise! The whole place had, had a re vamp, the food was presented and cooked in a much better way ( I never liked their roast potato's but now they are lovely). The price is not cheap, nearly £20 each with a coke but we have as much as we like ( my husband has a trough full !) and we enjoyed it. So glad we took the time to try it again.

Overpriced and poor food.

I took my 84 year old father out for dinner for my birthday on Wednesday 19th January. The new decor looks great and it’s changed a lot since I last went there. We were both disappointed with the poor menu choice. I ordered Beef Stroganoff and my Father chose Chicken Goujons with new potatoes and veg. The Stroganoff was horrible with poor quality beef. It lacked taste and certainly wasn’t like a traditional Stroganoff. The beef was chewy and made it unpleasant to try and enjoy. My father’s chicken was overcooked and veg over boiled! I had a pint of Moretti priced at £5.50!! My dad a Broadway bitter, the pice I can’t remember but again more London prices. This place I used to eat and drink regularly but I certainly won’t be back.
